it is not but a man who is genuinely seeking to convince people to vote for him will seek for any opportunity to share his ideas and opinions on issues to convince the electorate why he is better than his opponents. if not for anything at least to show regard for the people he is seeking to lead................ but of course this is actually not necessary in Nigeria where people don't care about who is competent. voting is along tribal and religious lines. Buhari thinks rightly or wrongly his support which is based on tribal and religious sentiments is more than that of his opponent so no need to trouble himself with a debate

The fact is just that the hypocrisy in this government is too much. 80% of my friends that supported Buhary had all left him. 10% are still contemplating. 4% are still with him because of the shame of leaving. 5% are the zombies that think Buhari is infallible, incorruptible and a demigod, even with all the evil, highhandedness, hate, nepotism, tribalism, sectionalism and corruption they see daily-- these ones only need an Anti-zombie vaccine. Where is the sanity in perpetuating failure and recycling incompetence. A sane person will not be interested in the WHATs but the WHYs, WHENs and HOWs which is the only way to decipher real vision from unsubstantiated theories like you put it, through an open debate. A sane person will recognize that there are alternatives to Buhari and Atiku.

You can not celebrate mediocrity and claim to be sane.

Presidential Candidates must debate on 1, Immigration, its Rights and Privileges 2, Patriotism, meaning, 3, Nationalism, meaning 4, Presidential Orders, meaning

An average Nigerian youth doesn't know that Buhari is the right person that has the capacity to deliver Nigeria.. I trust the fact that most of the cabals are against him..

everything you said is very possible . Asides restructuring without nass which he would need to explain how he will do that in a DEBATE.....shuùuuu

This is where our problem lies in Nigeria.

In a country where you cannot hold leaders by their words, a debate is useless.

Someone like Trump has achieved over 70% of his promises in his debate.

So if aspirants come with fluency and eloquence, knowing fully well that's it's only grammar we want, you'll think they're genuine.

Someone like Fela Durotoye will win such, whereas we all know he's not likely to succeed as a President.
