Roy Emmanuel, on Thursday, 15th of November, 2018, narrowly escaped being hacked to death while defending his boss, Wizkid, in Lagos.
We, exclusively, gathered that Roy was at club DNA, when the owners of the club started arguing with him that Wizkid didn’t buy the Lamborghini Urus he, recently, posted via his Instagram story.

Their claim was that he is owing the club millions of Naira for drinks bought on credit, and so, buying such car doesn’t make sense, but Roy defended his boss, saying he will clear his debts once he returns to the country.

However, when the bodyguard stepped out of the club, he was deeply macheted on the face. His attacker fled immediately, but it was later alleged that the suspect is the bouncer of club, who is currently on the run.

Roy was later seen talking with one of the owners of the club, shortly before being rushed to an undisclosed hospital, where he is currently recuperating.

The other night i had this bouncer go mental because my friends and I jokingly bumped into him. In a club full of drunk partygoers its inevitable that people are going to bump into each other so why was he causing a storm?

Were bouncers abused when they were small and chose to take on the Job to inflict pain and fear back to society?

The bodyguard is very lucky to have come out of this encounter with his skull intact.

This is a botched attempt by Wizkid to “use” him for raw materials to improve his fortune as we are in “Ember” Period. He needs all the shows and endorsement deals he can get. He has obviously learnt the ropes from his fellow afonja - David Adeleke.

I wonder why Afonja’s think the route to wealth is ritual killings and all sort of criminality.

Thank God the Bodyguard still has his skull intact - for now.
