Sorry please to take us back. For the purpose of learning like i have been here gathering information, why is cic requesting $12800.00?
Is it POF?

Hmmmmm, IRCC aint requesting $12800 from you, they want you to have the amount in your possession for your personal benefit.

You need the cash when you arrive Canada and to sort basic needs till you find a job.

You can read up page one for better understanding.

Same with me and my cousin. But this has been sorted out and secondary verification has gotten to wes. You can pm for the contact.

Hello my new fam,

I am a newbie, I read through from Part 1 up till this point. Gradually getting up to speed in my understanding of the processes! Thank you to everyone contributing on here.

Please need advice on who I can speak with at Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri that can ensure the school replies to the WES verification email for my OND transcript. WES confirmed they resent another email in October (that is last month).

Please if you know anyone who can help resolve this speedily, let me know ASAP.

Thanks!

Hi guys, with this recent ITA of 449, I want to add a year and more experience to boost my CRS to 460ish. The only issue is that, the firm doesn't have website or official email, I don't even think the principal is on LinkedIn. Will this be an issue?

Thank you!

You can add any experience you so desire as long as:
1. It can be on the company's letterhead (Or notarized plain paper done by a supervisor, with business card and contact details)

2. Ensure to add all possible documents that would convince the visa officer of the genuineness of the job. (Documents such as employment letter, promotion letters, pay slips, resignation letter, possibly pictures, your business card, if any)

Add all necessary information such that if they need to contact the company, they can do so with ease, otherwise, it could result in "review required".

Cheers*

Please can I pay for IOM medicals via internet banking to their standard chartered account. Thinking of paying and downloading my receipt as proof, as I am coming from outside Lagos and there's no standard chartered where I reside. Thanks.

That's exactly what I did. Paid via mobile app, emailed the receipt to myself and printed from there.
It was accepted

You can eneter the pool with this... However, I doubt whether this score can earn you ITA (all things being equal). Work on raising your listening to at least 8.

Cheers**

Wow! So close. You will need to @least score 8777 in LWRS to be on strong footings for Express Entry. Please give IELTS another shot. Best of luck.

Can someone who has a fair knowledge explain this process to me. Thank you.[Aquote author=Babeakosua post=73068367]Hi Everyone,

I'm at the ECA stage and i have some inquiries about NECO requirement/verification by WES.

Step 1:
Do i have to send my NECO certificate to WES first

OR

I'm i to apply to NECO to send my certificate or statement of result to WES first?

Step 2:
At what point i'm i required to send WES the NECO scratch card?

Step 3:
After sending WES the scratch card, do they still send the document/an email to NECO to verify the NECO result?

I would really appreciate your responses.

Make i no come carry last for this Canny journey. Better late than never.

Thank you.[/quote]

Its advise nah...more reason we tell peeps to read up. Honestly, no harm in reading and alot to gain.

Imagine telling someone to go borrow POF and do Gift deed.

If upon PPR, update SOA is requested and he/she has already returned the money nkon?

I'm on strong footing to update my score and get ITA in the next draw but I want to make sure my POF is complete for I and my battalion before I update.

I hope peeps will read up diligently.

hello my people, I recently invested in tbills but the confirmation letter I got in my mail was quite different from the ones I got from my former investments. this last one has no GTB logo neither does it have any authorizing signature. The other ones has logo and two signatures. Who has experienced this abeg, because I'm thinking of going to tear for them tomorrow. I'm of the opinion IRCC will not accept it. It was not even an attached, I think it was typed.

You can request for a confirmation letter of investment from your account officer.

Mine was just a semi-formal email from my account officer without even my name. The email address it was sent is not the one IRCC knows.

Anyway, I just submitted it like that with my account statement showing the debit. That was the additional stress for me because I wouldn't have attached that SOA.
I believe IRCC should ask GTB if they doubt it.

U actually need LRWS 8777 to have a good chance. Am very sure if u give IELTS another attempt with more practice will be just fine. Try have 8 in Listening while the others either remain same or more. You're almost there bro/sis.

Silent observer here. I have been so sad about my first IELTS but this thread has been encouraging.

LWRS - 9, 6.5, 8.5, 8
Hubby, ,7.5, 6.5, 8, 7

Our score is currently 436.
We were both advised to acquire a masters degree but that will take a long time.
Is there any other way we can increase our scores.

P.S I am scheduled to re-writes ielts in Dec.

Thanks.

You took a nice step by registering to rewrite IELTS. If you have spare funds, I will advise you contest your writing score. All the best.

I guess mine was like that too, but my concern is that I can't even downloadit because it's not an attachment. I think I will tread your path and add the SOA. Thanks alot
