I invested approximately N12m in building a poultry for layers. Mistake I made was I buying 1 Acre of land which cost me N4M to fence, built Pen house with N3.5M,built a 5 bedroom farm house with about N3m, constructed a concrete scaffolding (with 2 standard rooms, one as store the other as Gen. House) to mount the water tanks for N1.5m

Having done all these, I struggled to get 600 layers, the rest is history.

So sad. Something like this happened to my dad's cassava farm last year. Was funding him from Lag and when harvest time came,voom! thieves came along and cleared everything. Life can be crazy sometimes!

So I was told by a friend to lend a farm land to plant potatoes, unfortunately after clearing and planting with over months of mantainance fee paid monthly. fastforward 2weeks to harvest its was cleaned clear by thieves, only to be left with tiny pieces. That was quiet painful but lesson learnt

I lost more than 700k to mmm and bet9ja.thank gawd I have quit betting

This is a very sad experience. I've never been in your shoes but can understand how you feel.

This doesn't mean that you should close all the roads to a potential investment that can boom. My advice is that you study the area ir field in which you want to put your money before you put the money.

Next one was losing 40k last two weeks atletico Madrid vs Dortmund (gave Dortmund 2ahead)... This one was actually a rollover kinda money so wasn't as painful as d other one...

Mine was not an investment per se but e pain me.

I was in my finals and was looking for how to raise money to be able to face the challenges final year poses. One of my guy asked if I can clean a first year student's lodge for a token. I jumped on the offer, rich kid paid me 5k just to clean a self contained room(it was a new lodge). I went back to the my lodge, I didn't know anything about betting then, but one guy from my lodge won a whopping 450k+, mehn, I jumped into betting and staked all the 5k (the guy who won the 450k was the one that played the game for me). I was so sure I was going to win until I didn't. . Mehn I was livid for a whole month.

I have made many bad investment, from investing in transport business to building a house in the village when I should have invested in something that grows wealth, but the most painful and worst of all is 2million naira I lost in MMM and Gethelp, indeed only lazy men look for shortcut.

Less I forget, I also regret investing my time in trying to make a girl love me and not leave me....if woman done show u their bad side, u go understand that they are poor investment. my brothers n sisters, investing even your airtime on a girl can be the worst investment of your life.
