Good day gurus.. I just notice this in my laptop since yesterday. Anytime I switched off when it was not plugged in... The battery would automatically drain even if it was 99% when I switch it off, the worst thing is even if I switch off for 1min pere.. It automatically drains and won't on again till I plug it, and it will start at 0%.

I have a problem with my laptop, anytime am using my system, after 30 minutes it just trips off and turns it self on, sometimes at night or any time am not using it it turns it self on automatically, this constant problem has led to several crashing of my windows. My brain is telling me that it might be a power issue

My laptop is HP PAVILION DV6000 running on windows 7 ultimate i don't have Bluetooth on it currently so i downloaded Bluetooth from Intel site and when i run it de feedback i get as error msg is dat,,, "my system needs to be on windows 7 services pack 1 or higher version of it" please have wasted a lot of money and time downloading the service pack 892mb and it keeps failing to update it

*RAM upgrade*
Up the RAM to 4GB. Usually an increase in RAM makes up for certain lags.

*Defragment*
Your PC may be having a hard time trying to access files because they're broken and scattered in several locations on the hard disk. This could make your system run slow.

Defragmentation could be one more way to speed up computer operations.


defragmentation is a process where you pull up those files together in a sing spot making hem faster to access

If you're on win 7 (same as win 10, slight variations though)

Right Click on the ":C" drive > Properties

click on tools > "Defragment now"

The disk defragmenter window opens > Click on "analyse disk" button then > this generates how fragmented the disk is in percentages >

Click the defragment button.

I am sure that you don't have a password reset disk. So this is what you'll do buy a windows installation disc any version of your choice, it shouldn't be more than 500 Naira. Then boot from disc you do this by pressing F9 key when your computer turns on or hit esc key then go to boot menu and place boot from DVD on top and save. If done correctly the windows disc should load then follow the instructions

Just go to device manager then update the display adapter but make sure you connect to internet.

This is exactly what mine too was displaying, it just stock at desktop logo and won't boot to system...
