Toyota Camry 2007 Single Exhaust Conversion To Dual by Edozie13(m): 7:12pm On Nov 21, 2018
Good evening.

Please I’m wondering if converting my single exhaust to dual on my Toyota Camry 2007 LE is workable, and what are the pros and cons of doing this as well as costing.

Thanks!

Thanks chief! At least it’s better than getting a new car. By budget however, how much are we looking at here?

There are two ways to it. Either buy the exhaust pot and mounting bushings and hang it like that angry

Or

work the exhaust pot to the existing exhaust system angry

NB: you may need to buy rear bumper with the allowance for the dual tail pipe.

There is a reason your Camry was built with a single exhaust tail.

If you desire the model with the twin exhaust tails, why not sell yours and buy what you desire.

You will save yourself the troubles you will encounter if you are to carry out the conversion.

Adding double exhaust tips to your car won't add any benefit to the car apart from the beauty of looking at the rear of the car.

From the Little I read online, buying the dual system off a V6 and mounting it on my exhaust system will do it, and from what I read, it didn’t pose any problem for the end user.

I don’t speak tech, but the image below is how I imagine this upgrade in my head.

I have sentimental attachment to my car which is why I can’t sell for another (with double exhaust).

Stay on the topic being discussed.

The op's model is 2007 and not the 2010 to 2011.

The op's model is 2007 and not the 2010 to 2011.

You'd see i quoted someone and we had a discussion and someone definitely learnt something.
My message is also useful for the op so he can get the 4cyl se exhaust which would be a direct fit.
Next time think well b4 quoting me

Op how far with this your quest?
Were you able to achieve it?

I want to wear skirt for my LE to make it SE and also make the exhaust double, just for the beauty.

The single most pointless modification. I believe even the V6 models have just one pipe running from the exhaust manifold. So, either way na fake dual exhaust, lmao.

If done right, it could actually make the car drive a bit better, and sound nicer too.
I would get larger diameter exhaust pipes, install glass mufflers, and upgrade the exhaust tips. Car will breathe better, sound better, take off faster and even gain a few mpg while at it.
FYI I'm not a fan of the Camry though I feel the 07 to '10 will truly make a good project car to rebuild

I believe OP just wants to add a fake exhaust tip, which is completely useless. Plus I don't see how it can be done without buying a new bumper, or cutting a terrible hole into the current one.

But yeah, you're right. Only difference is, I'd say keep the stock pipes. Buy a complete catback setup if you want bigger pipes.
