I watched the video and I'm the type that shows apathy to the Nigerian soldiers when they get disgraced by ISWAP(considering the way the same soldiers kill and maim innocent civilians all over Nigeria, and most especially what they did to unarmed Igbo youths in their so called Operation python dance last year) ... but man that video brought out the humanity in me that I had to shed a tear, you know sh.it is serious when dead soldiers are been shot in the head execution style (double wahala for dead body as Fela succinctly put it). What was even more worrying was how audacious and prepared those insurgents were as they advanced and swarmed the Nigerian position, it was almost as if they were damn sure that they were going to have it easy in the encounter... let's not even talk about the heavy assault weapons they had(I even spotted a Nigerian military jet at some point in the video expertly tearing through the altitude in flight as an insurgent went to work on a truck mounted surface to air missile artillery gun to make sure the jet was way out of sight and range, kinda like a "keep off, this is ISWAP territory" warning). Any military expert or analyst watching that video would be gravely concerned about Nigeria cause the so called terrorists looked more like special forces than mere "rag tag" insurgents, which goes to suggest that they surely are of foreign brand or receive very sophisticated training in foreign terrorist cells.

And lastly the officer they captured and trussed on their truck looked Igbo to me.

That guy looks the said lieutenant colonel that was killed..he shouldn't have surrendered to those bastards...it's not like they would spare after killing his men..

Real talk, if I knew my fate was sealed... I would just say my quick last prayers and take my own life with a grenade that will reduce me to a pile of flesh, bile and bones... no way will I allow my body to be desecrated like that or me been captured by those bastards who will do enough to psychologically torture me before killing me in the most brutal way possible.

. I just watched it and can't help but feel for the future of this country. Bread winners of families have just been killed and the ministry of defence and that of information hasn't come out to say a single thing.
We know that boko haram has a major camp in sambisa forest so what stops us from deploying drones to level their hideout. While this is on going, foot soldiers would have been strategically placed as well as land mines to waste those that may try to escape
Billions of dollars have gone down the drain and nothing to show for it. If Buhari, a retired general, with the tactical know how on how wars are fought has not been able to do something tangible, then he should hurt his head in sham and resign or sack the incompetent service chiefs or better still, request for better trained and equipped foreign manpower

At one point in the video we can hear one of the insurgents shouting 'Allah akbar'. Now these folks carry out these atrocities and say they are doing the will of Allah. My anger is that MURIC and other Muslim organization have never come out to protest openly, carry placards and condemn these acts by saying that these acts do not reflect the core of Islam. When it gets to a trivial issue as ban of hijab, all hell is let lose.
