As more people are becoming more connected so do the issues that affect us as a world, according to the recently released Human Development Index (HDI) for 2018. The annual report by the United Nations Development Programme usually measures a number of factors to give a comprehensive overview of development. Thus, instead of focusing on economic growth, it looks at other factors such as health and life expectancy, education and standard of living. The report sampled 189 countries and territories, rating them on how they performed in the three main categories. Here is how Africa’s top 10 countries fared. |
