Yes sir, I have tried to prime it but didnt start right away. Yesterday i primed it 3 times and i had to crank twice before engine started. When i put the ignition on, i hear the humm sound from the fuel pump, i did it 2 more times and cranked the engine but it didnt start right away. Whatelse can be done sir. I want my engine to start as cranked sir. The only time i enjoy crank and start is maybe when i park suddenly to receive a phone call or anytime i have a brief stop, in this case it usually start one time!!! GAZZUZZ: |

AgentSpoon: That completely rules out fuel pressure. At this point there's little I can do remotely. Start by checking Cylinder compressions, it is very possible engine takes more time building compression on the first cycle. You could have a carbon buildup in the valve area. this is just a guess. |

Good Day GAZZUZZ. Am looking to get an EOD for my Dad. Please i don't ever want him to experience the notorious EOD ball joint issue. What is required to achieve this feat? Also Friends are against me buying the car cos of this issue, please whats your candid advice. Thanks and God bless you |

REDDEVILS1: Buy the car, replace all the joints with OEM brand new, have them checked every year. You will be fine. |

GAZZUZZ:thanks baba. I appreciate. Getting the oem parts will be a problem. These guys can be dubious. How do i know its the original not china? My dad stays in an area with very bad road, will 1 year not be stretching it? |

REDDEVILS1:Go and buy a better car for your father. Mercedes Benz E class... C klasse... Toyota Camry or Corolla... 4runner... even a Lexus. Just leave the Honda alone with their issues |

coolb: Same engine and in some cases same transmission. The RX350 has a more durable suspension system. |

Oga Gazzuzz please help! I have a honda civic 2008 which sometimes after driving for a long distance it will just slow down to about 20km/h and won't accelerate.. If i press the gas pedal it slows it down even more. If i leave the gas pedal it goes up gradually by itself....if i stop and take out the battery terminal or allow it to cool down for some minutes it will start driving fine.. No check engine light... No scan codes.. What could be the culprit please ? |

GAZZUZZ:Good morning Gazzuz. I mentioned a similar problem to the post you quoted but this car starts blinking check engine light. You said to check catalytic converter andd it turned out fine. The car has gotten worse. It now jerks on idle. Mechanic is still insisting it's MAF. What should we do oga Gazzuz |
