Well, i am gonna say this and once. I no go use any sugar cover am.

Jokes apart, if common English could be this tricky, think about Maths 1, Maths 2, in some cases, Maths 3(For sexy engineering courses). Physiscs na light weight. Statistics na die! Maths easy pass Stats somehow...Stats you need to think larger whereas maths is kinda fixed.

Bobo maths is fixed
Ok oh.

Good evening everyone.
I wish to study an healthcare course.
Preferably nursing, pharmacy or dentistry.
Please how do I go about this

My initial plan was to apply to a university here either in nursing or pharmacy, get done with 100lvl and apply with my 100L transcript.

I read somewhere that most healthcare courses are taught in German.
Please I need ur assistance here to achieve my dreams.
100percent German bro and you have to go through studienkolleg when trying to get admission into any health related course

With my heart finally at ease and full of joy, I wish to announce that my Almighty AM has dropped.

My journey started around this same time last year. I initially wanted to go to Norway and started following the thread, but I somehow stumbled on the German thread and I have been on it from that day. I don't go a day without opening the thread and I have read from part 2 to the last page on the current part.

I applied to about 3 schools for summer semester 2018. They all rejected me (with good reasons though) except for FAU that rejected me just because of cetification. I was heartbroken.

I only applied to those 3 schools for summer because I didn't want to go through UNIASSIST because of financial reasons.

TIMELINE:

Applied for Admission: 02-12-2017
Opened Fintiba: 20-12-2017
Received Admission: 13-02-2018
Interview: 28-05-2018
Sent blocked account confirmation: 15-06-2018
AM dropped: 25-06-2018.

I am not sure where I am going yet. I have admission for University of Freiberg. (Environmental Geoscience)

Still expecting from Leibniz universitat Hannover (Water Resourses and Environmental Management), University of Bayreuth( Environmental Geography) and Kiel (Marine Geoscience).

The one month wait for the AM was really a tough one. Even though I was very confident of my interview, I was still kinda worried.

Thank you all for all the assistance here. I use myself as a point of contact to all those still expecting, it will get to us all in Jesus name.

Onto the next phase.

God is faithful.

I am also a graduate of Geology. I have a Bsc in Geology and also Msc. in petroleum Geology too. Pls which of the above school would u advice me to apply to. I want to do another Msc. in Germany. Pls note, I had 2.2 in my Bsc. I am thinking of going for summer class but it seems most of the schools admission has closed. So I am thinking of going for Winter 2019 admission. I would use the few months to attend a language school here in Lagos before resumption. Pls I will like to know how u went through the admission process. Pls note. I don't want to apply through UNIASSIST. I will prefer an online application to the school directly. Thanks

All suggestions are welcome

Another MSc in Germany, are you planning on lecturing?? Or are you extremely young?? The oil and gas sector is very sensitive to age, and your qualifications sound okay to me!

But then... Use DAAD to search for schools. Bremen and Kiel is fine but you can search for way more options depending on what ur goals are.

To add to your question if anyone knows if there’s a better option other than the black market to get Euros to fund the block account I would appreciate

Please, I've gotten my admission letter for summer masters program in engineering from TU freiberg. If there's anyone towards that direction; please beep me up.
I'm having issue opening BA with fintiba (though they've replied me via email, but had been difficult for me to proceed with respect to filling up the missing item, linking my inbox to their website). Just wanted to ask if it's a peculiar issue at this time, for over a week now, it's being same thing; not loading at all
Please I need help and direction on this
Thanks my people

I'm a fresh applicant here as well but i think you can if u stay in abuja or close to abuja. The only thing u can't do @ d embassy in Abuja is the VISA interview based on what I read on their site. You can go through their site(the link i sent) incase nobody confirms this.

No. You only apply for one. Actually, the faculty gives you admission so you enrol into the course u want when the admission comes.

The truth of the matter is that apart from IT (programmers in particular) every other profession be it STEM or outside STEM need quite a bit of effort in getting a position post study.

My advice, forget about STEM and focus on learning the language well. Believe me when I say that no matter your program, if you have say B2 or C1 and can read and write german well, you will definitely find offers.

Even System and network administrators have it tough without german. I have many IT Security specialist friends that have B1 german and still being told it is not enough. I also met a guy that studied Law and Economics in English (very little german A1 level) but got a job as a research analyst with a startup in Hamburg.

So, what I am saying is that with God all things are possible but try your very best to be in the best position to get offers no matter what course you are studying.

There are guys that studied Economics and work in Banks now (Fintiba for example), someone studying english communication and has an HR internship with a big company (english only), friend who studied quantitative finance and now working as a business intelligence analyst....the list is endless.

Plan, prioritize, grind, learn and see success fall on you in multiple folds...

Thank you very much sir for this write-up

@klexycole, there you have it
