I am an old nairalander but created this new moniker just now because I need someone to talk to.my marriage to hubby hit the rock sometime ago

My strength keep failing me some days and its worse today. Please is there any father here either married, separated ,divorced or widowed who I can talk to.I am specific about a male because for the first time, i want to get an unbiased male opinion from a neutral person( someone not related to me)

Please I beg in the name of God, I am hurting so much and don't want negative comments.

it is not everything you share on NL, especially sensitive stuff. NL is full of fckkkboys and fccckgirls that live on nothing but criticizing and judging people on their emotions.

I think the OP's case is kind of private, confidential and personal. that's why she chose the means to communicate with her.

2. One persons view via Pm cant be broad enough for anyone truly seeking advisory or answers. A larger audience will give bigger outlook and approach.

3. One can always read, jump and pass on posts that you find hilarious, off topic, inconsequential and insulting.

I don't know how I feel about this

Marriage these days eh. I am even afraid.

I just hope it hasn't got to the stage of depression. Marriage isn't a prison so if it ain't working, get out of it while you still have your sanity intact before it turns you to a monster.

Your kids if you already have them may not understand now but they will in future.

I just wonder why someone will be so unhappy in marriage and still hang on to it as if it's a lottery ticket. The earlier you start putting your happiness ahead of what people will say, the better for you.

1) using a new moniker does not change her personal issues and emotional state.


2) dont forget, pm is open to more than one person. which means more than one person could message her through pm. from there, she could deal with all of dem without the view of larger audience with annoying comments. OP's reasons, I guess.


3) internet has more power to influence your ignorance to any post, which could compel or tempt you into replying comments you are not interested in. don't think it is everyone that can ignore posts or comments. as in the case of the op, her case is kinda emotional and sensitive.


4) yes, I pray and wish her/him the same.
