My questions are..
1. Do I buy from jumia oversees - Buy from any of the touts here on Nairaland and get freebies
2. Do I buy from aliexpress direct (I have never used it b4) - Another good option but you need to learn the ropes so as not to fall victim of fake roms which might brick your device, excessive custom duties and delayed delivery
3. Does anybody have it in stock already right here in Nigeria. - Many of the touts - Noobody, Protein0, macbeyland, Ifedith to mention but few in no order of preference, are all good touts to deal with.
4. Is it possible to get in under a week if I am ready to buy. - Depending on the tout you purchase from on Nairaland and your location, you can get it within 24hrs. From Aliexpress you can get it within 10 days or 3-4 weeks
5. Is the phone camera better than the canon x pro. (Currently using camon CX) - Better by far and well supported
6. Can I get it at Ikeja computer village.. - Might not be possible, doubt if they know it sef, all they know there is Tecno and Infinix cheesy
7. Is there anyone that can do pay on delivery for me. (Lagos) - Ask the above listed touts but I doubt any would want to deliver without first getting the alert on their phone but you can try them out

All the best!

Guys same ere too oo..
I wanna buy the Redmi Note 6 pro from Jumia Global (overseas) with the reasobs above.. Thanks

Good morning friends!

It's been long since I last visited this thread. So, I am putting up my Xiaomi Mi 6 global device for sale.

It's a black variant with 6gb ram and 64gb room. Neatly used with box and 360 case including tempered glasses.

Make me an irresistible offer. Read about the specs on AliExpress before making an offer.

Thanks.

Infact I do, I have a celbro that does QC 2.0 and 3.0, MTK pump express and adaptive fast charge but does not do OPPO VOOC and USB PD but my floveme charger does all of the above. The celbro ships for about $9 and the floveme for $5.

I also have a croutch charger that only does QC 2.0 and 3.0, while my oukitel follow come priced at $12 only does MTK pump express. My mi dual USB QC brick priced at over $20 can only do QC 2.0 and 3.0

So yes bro I know what u're talking about.

All the best!

Some buyers even seem to be afraid of POD.

A buyer chatted me last week wanting to buy Redmi note 5 Ai, I told him I could waybill to his destination and gave him total cost. He said he was going to call back. Later he called back and suggested POD to lag, I told him I could arrange it, within 36 hours, he said again that he was going to call back. He called back again saying his brother stays in Port Harcourt and could do face to face transaction. I told him that's even more preferable since he can see and inspect what he was buying before paying... At this point he had started to raise up the trust line of 'I trust you but....' Later he called back to ask where my shop was located in Port Harcourt. I told him I didn't have a shop but could deliver to somewhere close to where his brother in Port Harcourt resides. Later he called to say that his brother would only buy if I had a shop. Within the period of all these conversations, I had arranged 2 orders on POD to lag, one of the women had even paid and collected her stuff.

Later he chatted me up asking me to pls refer him to any shop in Port Harcourt where xiaomi phones are sold. I was dumbfounded. You can't trust me to do payment before delivery, POD, face to face transaction, yet you can trust me to refer a shop in Port Harcourt to you. It really didn't make any sense to me..

Add a screenshot to show how the glo ussd message is truncated.

As for the audio issue, I don't experience such on my redmi 5 plus. I am using a xiaomi earpiece and the sound is excellent. I have not tried other earpiece though.

For ads, you do know that even the best video player on Google play store (mx player in my opinion) shows lots of ads.

I stop the ads by restricting the app from accessing the internet. I am curious about other methods though.

Maybe because you use a xiaomi earpiece,i thought of that as well.

@queenfav I think the audio ish is with miui10.... I use a baseus earpiece and I'm on miui 9.5 and my audio is clear... I wonder why an update rather than make something better would make it worse..... Maybe I should just stay on this 9.5 jeje o

And truly the phone is really a great buy and xiaomi is such a nice product, all the tech guys in my office just keep saying it's Tight.... The camera is nice, face unlock is fast, fingerprint is fast.

The matter tire me o. Tecno phone that I got for 3800 has a better audio output than the xiaomi right now. Once u buy, and ur phone works ok.. Just remain on that version. No one knows the bugs and issues the next version would introduce to the phone

Moving from miui 9 to 10 is a major upgrade. You can either reflash the full rom or factory reset

Even if Jesus comes down to dwell with us, some people will never believe him. I wonder if these kind of people will ever go far in life by living on the edge. Life is about taking risk, even life itself is a big risk.

My experience over 4 years on Xiaomi... Only experienced ads once... Mi 4... Since den i never see ads for my phone maybe because i know wer to turn of ads. I have never seen ads anywhere in phone since mi 4, i turn off all recommendations and ads option.
For upgrades, i never pass up the chance to upgrade... Not in my lifetime... And I've always enjoyed all the updates.
For audio issues ehn... grin grin... I go give Nokia coloud pop for 2k kpere and if u suffer bad audio ehn make i 24.
