The tone will be just like the first movie, WB is not crazy enough to change something that already worked the first time.

I think the only reas0n it wasn't trashed was the feminist thing it had going which to be truthful wasn't even present. Both fans and critics hated the film.
It only became a BO success because of good marketing from WB.

Zack Snyder's Watchmen was really deep and had some sense to it.

Also BVS wasn't a generic action flick.

At the end of the day critics thrashed these movies because it was too depressing, dark and gritty.

JL failed to market the character well.

But it's not a big of a problem that James Wan can't fix.

People are already buying tickets to see fish boy and there's nothing you can do about it.

According to analysts... When it comes to box office projections, Aquaman could be the first movie since June to open with $100m or more this year.

The last movie to achieve this feat is Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom with $143m and that was way back in June.

These projections are not set in stone and therefore should be taken with a pinch of salt.
