The case looks more like a set up that could be as a result of the following reasons below:

1) They cheated on a guy who had invested so much on them.

2) Tampered with the husband of a woman.

3) Refused to date a guy after lavishing them with money.

The idea of ritualists or kidnapping should be ruled out

The case looks more like a set up that could be as a result of the following reasons below:

1) They cheated on a guy.

2) Tampered with the husband of a woman.

3) Refused to date a guy after lavishing them with money.

The idea of ritualists or kidnapping should be ruled out and that is why I agree with you.
