Lol. Punctuation marks are so important and their wrong usage could make the message misinterpreted.

The comma(,) should come after "declines".

Good point. The headline looked odd, until I read the story.

Truth is, you can't use 'china phone' in China (if you know).
Transsion is holding on to areas it knows don't give a damn about what saner climes do. No African nation has ever sat to look into the security implications of the proliferating smartphones from China. Check out the ordeals of ZTE and more recently Huawei (we could expand to APPLE, MICROSOFT and AMAZON).

Ten years back, who might have known that Tecno would have become so prominent and ground-breaking enough to take a major cut of the African smartphone market ? Tecno is as of now the 7TH most respected brand in Africa. The organization has prevailing with regards to pulling the carpet from under the feet of giants like Nokia and Apple as far as Africa is concerned. Tecno, Infinix and iTel are Chinese brands under a similar parent organization Transsion Holdings yet they've never sold a single phone in China. They have no shop in China. Be that as it may, many miles away in Africa, they control a solid and faithful base of loyal supporters that would make Apple green with jealousy.

TECNO: WE ARE AFRICAN AND FOR AFRICANS

Headquartered in Shenzhen, China, Transsion is one of China's greatest phone producers. In big cities like Lagos, Nairobi and Addis Ababa is where the organization assembled its business in Africa. Also, it has no plans to return home. The organization has been extremely fruitful in Africa and has seen it's smartphones overwhelm the African market.

As per the outline above, Samsung controls Africa and middle East with 25% piece of the overall industry, Huawei comes next with 11%, Tecno comes third with 9% while iTel comes fourth with 7%. Apple trail behind with a little 5% piece of the pie. That is for Africa and center East consolidated. In Africa alone, Tecno is the smartphone ruler controlling the market with an iron clench hand.

The masterstroke that Tecno utilized in prevailing upon the core of Africans is the reasonable value, a more extended battery life, double sim and development. Transsion Holding propelled Tecno in Nigeria in 2006. From the earliest starting point all Tecno phones are double sim henceforth taking care of the issue of swapping sim cards constantly. From that point forward, it has developed to wind up exceptionally effective. They rushed to notice our power issues and they gave us greater batteries than other phone producers. Both iTel and Tecno have 5000mAh battery limit telephones.

About 95% of Transsion smartphones cost under $200, making them the lord of budget phones in Africa.

Transsion Holdings says it has over 10,000 local workers in Africa, and 6,000 in China. Its minimal effort African workforce causes it hold it's costs down and stash neighborly. In 2015, the organization propelled a music application called Boomplay that will rival iTunes and Spotify. This move is to draw in music lovers to the phone and the application right now has more than 32 million users. Far from Africa, the organization in 2017, propelled Tecno in India and inside a year had asserted 5% of the gigantic piece of the overall industry. The company would like to extend to Bangladesh and other Asian nations in future.

NO. Apple is a premium products and they are not chasing everyone - Not for paupers. Tecnos are for struggling folks.
In the US. 0.00000000000001 of the people here will use Tecno. I have never seen one before and will not use if it is given as a souvenir.
As usual, you have spoken well from your asssholeee

The decline in Apple's sales shows that Africans see the iPhone as an overpriced gimmick.Android to the rescue! grin grin
the rich people constitute just 14percent of the world population, and that said, apple won't penetrate the market because of their high prices. The trick is, make your products for all cadres and watch your business skyrocket.

Who told you apple is declining?

According to data released by Apple herself, shipment has fallen a little but profit grew due to high price charged for the newest phone

That's what we are saying here. Many people would've loved to buy one, but the price tag is not helping matters. Ever since Tim Cook took over from Jobs, Apple products have always risen in price with little added features. During Job's time apple's new products usually come out a little bit cheaper than the ones in the market. They usually find out ways to minimize costs so as to have more customers by selling at a reduced price.

They would have saved it if it's cheap and affordable..
The new Nokia 3310 costs 15k plus

I still stand with Xiaomi anyway anywhere.

Before you start comparison, what is their market objective? iPhones are not designed to be afforded by the poor. Since majority of the African population are poor, you can't expect sales to gain traction here

but this Same Africa market is saving techno
because Tecno phones production is strictly just for Africa , while phones like apple and samsung is Global.. it’s just like producing a song for just your street and booming there, then you come competing with a musician that produces songs for the whole world and booming , then you compete over who has more sales in your street with the musician ...

If Tecno does a mass global phone production and record only sales from Africa, they’d go bankrupt and the African market won’t save it
