The bloods of Lt II Sakaba and his younger brother Lt YI Sakaba are on hands of the hierarchy of Nigerian Army. He was demoted by six months in ranks for complaining about obsolete and unserviceable equipment in 2016, two years later the NA still sent him to the boko haram killing fields to be killed.

Let them shelf their nonsense condolence visit. In 4 years his poor mother has lost two sons to Boko Haram. Nothing is going to compensate for this wickedness.

No, stupid Nigerian military structure did that.

Captains and Majors who are company commanders or battalion 2iC should not be so easy to kill in battle let alone a Lt Colonel at Battalion CO level.

In the last 3-4 decades, the Nigerian military turned to dustbin for recruiting people based on connections, politics, state quota... unwarranted numbers.

After graduation, NDA course members are promoted the same time using years designated for rank structure...NOT based on merit, force requirements, available positions and impact on pension.

So useless officers who should still be captains or retired for lack of skills find themselves wearing colonel or brigadier rank because their NDA course is due for promotion and that they pass yeye standard exams.

The result is that there are so many officers wearing useless ranks with no respectable positions to fill they end up doing the same roles as corporals and Sargent.

A 6 Div Delegation led by Brig Gen SI Igbinomwanhia COS HQ 6 Div paid a condolence visit to the widow of our fallen hero Late Lt Col Ibrahim Sakaba today 28 Nov 18 on behalf of the GOC 6 Div/LCC JTF OPDS Maj Gen J Sarham.

Present at the event are the rep of the NAOWA President 6 Div Chapter, NAOWA members, NASWA members, Comd 46 EB- Brig Gen JD Omali, CDOS- Brig Gen AM Kanoma, DDAPR- Col A Iliyasu, Comd 6 Prov G- Col AD Abubakar, DCOS G1- Col MG Hammawa, Chaplain (RC and Prot) and reps of Imam and 6 MIB

May his Brave, Patriotic and gallant soul Rest now and forever in peace while the rest of us battle on to victory.

The federal government of Nigeria should engage the United Nation to start peace talk with the insurgent to reach a peace deal.

Concluding that Nigeria can defeat this insurgent is wishful thinking.
