Reading the past comments, it just really hurts me seeing Nigerians fighting each others like this. It just tells how far the country has deteriorated.

A lot of this fights and strikes can be avoided if we had a good government in place, the government would come into play by having a minimum take home for every worker. The minimum take home for every Uber/Taxify driver should be at least 100k a month, so if you are renting it would be less that that.

This fare matter could have easily been passed on to the government and the government would have been able to come to a reasonable fare considering the traffic condition and state of road in the state but this is not the case so all these multi nationals treat Nigerians with no respect which is very saddening.

Every Nigerian is their own government, fighting for their right and fending for themselves.

Please let us all get our PVC's and do the right thing.

SN: With this new rates even people with corolla's are having challenges meeting up with their remittance.
Unfortunately there's no correct answer in the options, pvc solves nothing

I'm thinking of setting the trip down from 4pm when it's not yet peak period. Or a request might come in before leaving the office.

Since this is a blatant lie, I won't bother derailing the thread a little.

The new rate regime is an indication of the way markets were always going to go..

If you didnt expect it, then you have poor foresight..

The days of renting out single cars is nearly over..

You either drive your car or own a fleet...

What do you think about this companies further decreasing their fairs ? Personally, I think this is how far they can go.

In the short term yes. In the long time, fares will keep dropping till Uber is not a luxury service.

A guy earning 150k a month cant conveniently take uber twice a week for a month.

A 1.5k trip twice a week comes to 3k a week and 12k a month.

Hardly affordable for a 150k guy.

Much less affordable for 100k guy.

Infact to put it in perspective, a lot of the guys driving Uber cant afford uber.

That is not an affordable service.

The future of Uber is in companies who own large fleets and are able to keep costs down while making up for small margins with increased asset turnover.

That being said, Uber will always be profitable for the lone driver who owns his/her car.

Not everyone can afford taxi (yellow cab). E-cabs should be used by people that can afford it and when it's needed by people that can afford 2-5 trips weekly. There will always be a need! Yes, it should be affordable but not so cheap. For those willing but cannot afford, there is a cheaper alternative LT/danfo/faragon/molue.

As supply increases, demand drops.
More drivers equals less earnings.
In order to cater for a huge and growing driver base, Taxify must take in new customers fast.
Fastest way of growing customers?
Slash prices.
Great way to lose drivers, but that was the problem to start with, too many drivers on only 2 platforms.

Pls can someone help me? How long does inspection report take? I went for inspection two days ago at one of Cars45 centres & was told I'd get the report in my email in 24 hours but as I'm writing this I haven't seen anything. I've called & sent WhatsApp messages to the guy that did it & he said he's waiting for reply from hdqtres.

What a heck is this? Any similar experience? And by the way it's uber inspection.

Have you received your report now? I'm yet to get mine...abt 10 days now. I've called their call centre tire. The Car45 just dey useless.

Your just a cheap liar. Have u left ur house in Maryland ,have u pack ur tutorial school located in Maryland or are u still double dealing with partners cars using 2 drivers on one car ,one drivers in d mornin and the other in d evening, why are u not advertsing ur fleet managing company again ,simply cos ur not proud of what u have done with peoples hard earned money.i pity the Mumu that will fall into ur trap as u can only use pen and paper to collect all his due payments. You hv driving so many cars as u started uber driving exactly 2015 so claiming 1year on uber is like ur denying ur person.Uber is my side hussle,My mainstream business needs money now as it's our season to make huge profit.i can still buy better and newer cars when am done with my biz so don't be fooled.Business is about using different strategies to achieve a purpose which will yield profits .So be wise as serpent.Anyway u fraudsters hv short memory always forgetting ur victims but the victims never forgets.
Can I send you a PM or email you pls.. Would love to talk to you. Personal pls
