Good Riddance! Cameroon only got the right because of Issa Hayatou with no infrastructure to show for. While likes of Nigeria with enough facilities were repeatedly denied the opportunity I pity Clearance Seedorf who was banking on home advantage to win the Cup, now he has to prove his mettle on a neutral ground ![]() No maga mago |

dominique:It was never certain that they would host it. They were always tentative hosts. This was why they were made to participate in the qualifiers. I'm sure CAF always had a plan B. I'm guessing Morocco. |

MorbidAngel7:Morocco should not even be allowed to participate in African competitions. They are not member of African Union and the last time opportunity was given them ,they refused to host the it , claiming Ebola |

Cameroon had already complained that the sudden increase in the number of teams from 16 to 24 after hosting rights had been given was going to be a problem for them. They complained 2 years ago. CAF should have acted then. |

bigstan11787:One only needs four venues to host AFCON. right now we have got Teslim Balogun , Uyo , Nnamdi Azikiwe , and Ahmedu Bello Stadia ready to host any of such competitions, the only challenges would come in Logistics like, accommodation, Transportation and rest On security CIVILIAN JTF and association of local hunters and Vigilante On Transportation, we have enough KEKE MARUWA to ferry them...case closed ![]() |

Thank God Cameroun did not host because of their lack of social living and discrimination within their blood. |
| Re: CAF Withdraws AFCON 2019 Hosting Rights From Cameroon by ogbonti: 4:59pm On Nov 30, 2018 |
PlayerMeji:No way, we can't host it and allow Cameroon to come and collect the cup like they did in year 2000. Of Cameroon cannot host it successfully, then they should be given a 10-year ban. There has to be consequences for misbehavior and disappointent of this magnitude. They are dropping out because they hate to host and not win it.... THEY MUST HOST IT AND NIGERIA WILL LIFT THAT CUP IN YAOUNDE! |
| Re: CAF Withdraws AFCON 2019 Hosting Rights From Cameroon by Reference(m): 5:03pm On Nov 30, 2018 |
And Hayatou was CAF President for like a gazillion years and still couldn't lift the game in his home country.... Political power is definitely over rated. Doesn't do jack. |

ogbonti:I can't see any consequences here. It was CAF that chose to withdraw the hosting right, Cameroon didn't opt out . They still maintain their ability to host until CAF decided otherwise. so in such case you can't penalize them |

Pidginwhisper:Not awoof, They have the infrastructures to host even world cup. |

Pidginwhisper:Especially now that they are not sure to make it to the biennial mundia. I would prefer Morocco. |
| Re: CAF Withdraws AFCON 2019 Hosting Rights From Cameroon by Pidginwhisper: 5:18pm On Nov 30, 2018 |
Blitz888:Definitely. Morocco shouldn't be allowed to host as the country had previously said it's not a member of AU. |
| Re: CAF Withdraws AFCON 2019 Hosting Rights From Cameroon by Pidginwhisper: 5:21pm On Nov 30, 2018 |
movetoca:forget about infrastructure. South African is always willing to buy it's way with money when it comes to football.. They're not going to Nations Cup as i don't see them beating Libya @ away fixture. |

Peter12396:. CAF aren't serious before, how can they asked a country bedevilled with internal fratricidal war to be hosting a tournament of that status..what Cameroon is wasting on internal war is enough to build 10 Stadia ..They should be allowed to sort out themselves first while another country do the hosting . Good luck to Cameroon |
| Re: CAF Withdraws AFCON 2019 Hosting Rights From Cameroon by DavSagacity(m): 5:39pm On Nov 30, 2018 |
Pidginwhisper:It's not Awoof. The truth is that they have the infrastructure and good pitches to successfully host the AFCON. All the stadiums that hosted the 2010 world cup are still in perfect condition because of their good management system . So if CAF eventually give it to SA, its because they deserve it. |
