Icon4s:Tbh I don't know who is interested or not but I think SA is a no brainer. They are the only country in the continent that has ever hosted that many countries and their facilities are still in good condition |

So he should turn his back now on Denmark? Can that not also be seen as arrogant? Continue your rant. Modified Boy go spin girl when get BF, the girl says she is committed to her bf, boy go talk say she arrogant? What I’m saying is if Billing eventually decides to continue on his career part with Denmark, it’s his choice. It’s actually the boy who is arrogant since he expects that she has to dump her bf oloriooko: |

BascoVanVeli:I raised eyebrows when CAF increased the number of teams to 24. For CAF to cope with this format they have to make the AFCON once in 4yrs. This will allow enough time for hosting countries to put their facilities together. With this format of 24 teams and 6 venues and AFCON once in 2yrs CAF will continue to withdraw hosting rights. BTW who is to host the 2021 AFCON? Have they commenced preparations? Can they put up 6 venues within a short time? CAF needs to either revert to 16 teams hence 4 venues or alternatively maintain the 24 teams but make the tournament every 4yrs. |

BascoVanVeli:I think the CAF President increased it to increase the Southern and Eastern countries' chances of participation. Me think the 16 team format is still ok for now. Africa is not ready for a 24 team AFCON. Alternatively the AFCON should be once 4 years. |

Joebie:good question I would say in the global scheme of things we are not a great football nation but if we restrict the analysis to africa then I will say we are one of the great football teams on the continent globally as with all things nigerian we have good potential which we have failed to realise |

Earthquake2:I'm not saying we should look for a midfielder with abilities equal to that of Modric.....that will amount to a wild goose chase. I only said we need someone with Modric's BASIC SKILLSET I.e. decent ball control and fairly accurate long passing ability. Is that too much to ask?. When we compare Chukwueze to Robben it's not because they are equals in terms of quality but because they have the same PLAYING PATTERN/ BASIC SKILLSET I.e. cutting in from the right wing to shoot with the left foot. You get?. |

tbaba1234:Onyekuru is one guy I pity so much in the SE. I just don't understand why Rohr isn't giving him more playing time. Will it kill Rohr to remove Samuel Kalu around the 70th minute and let us see what Onyekuru can do?. Poor Henry. I wonder how he must be feeling. |

Uzoho is recovers from injury Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho has returned to training with LaLiga 2 side Elche after recovering from an injury he suffered early last month, AOIFootball.com reports. The 20-year-old was injured in his side’s 5-1 loss to Cadiz on the 4th of November, forcing him to miss Nigeria’s AFCON qualifier against South Africa in Johannesburg and the friendly against Uganda in Asaba. He, however, confirmed his return on his Instagram page after posting a picture of him in training with the caption “I am back in business. In Christ alone”. Uzoho’s return will come as a boost for head coach Pacheta who will be happy to have the Nigerian back in goal with his side failing to win any of their three matches he missed. The young lad has kept two clean sheets in three league matches but could, however, sit out Saturday’s clash against Cordoba. He should be in contention for next weekend’s home clash against Sporting Gijon. http://aoifootball.com/2018/12/01/uzoho-returns-to-training-with-elche-after-recovering-from-injury/ |

Icon4s:Moving the AFCON to June is another issue cus that's the period when most African countries especially southern and eastern countries experience high rainfall.. Hosting a tournament in the rainy season isn't a good option...if FIFA could shift the 2022 world cup to November due to weather conditions regardless of whatever the European clubs say, why can't CAF maintain the January date? Honestly I can't help but wonder if Ahmad Ahmad's ultimate goal as CAF president is to frustrate west African teams |

Odunayaw:Yes his time would come. When Kalu, Simon and Chukwueze are injured. .Rohr just doesn't have faith in the guy. It's sad. Maybe Henry's move to Bayern, if it materializes, will help change the septuagenarian's conservative mind. |
