Well, the scan was very brief.

The doctor didn't bother counting, but from the look of things, she was satisfied with what she saw. She said I should continue with same dosage.
My next and final scan before trigger is on Friday.

Can't believe I am almost done.
Wish you a strong bfp!

This is for the per who asked about clinics running promo or having a slashed down.

Gynescope is running promo. For those interested check their website or give them a call. I saw the advert on their website late October/ early this month and wouldn't know if it still on. The price has been slashed down to N890k or so, meds or drugs included. You can call to confirm.

Nisa Port Harcourt will also commence their promo from February 2019. Their price has been slashed down to about N800K. Check their website. http://www.nisaprimefertility.org/Our%20Success.html

Diff hospital too in Abuja is running a promo/window of favor. N750,000 per circle, meds included. Check their website for info https://diffhospital.com/salt-foundation/

Yes o. Nearing the end.
I am on day 8 of stimms. I will stim for 10days, so I have 2 days left which is on Friday.
I also had my day 6 scan on Monday.

We are very close, just 2 days apart.

Wishing you the best in your scan today.
Keep us posted.

How are you feeling generally with regards to side effects of stimulation?

I have been having sore breast since yesterday and watery/sticky discharge since 2 days ago and tiredness.
Also, lower abdominal ache.

Yes just 2 days apart.

Scan went well. By your next scan they would measure your eggs right?

Asides from breast pains and feeling hungry more than usual, I am OK. No serious side effects for me.

Had my egg collection on Monday. 5 eggs retrieved, n 3 were of good quality n just d 3 were treated. Got a call from them on Tuesday that d 3 fertilised, so hopefully they survive till today for biopsy, n will be frozen after day 5. I need another cycle to get more embryos, coz d docs advised against analyzing genotype of just3 embryos, coz of d cost involved. Wish u d best in ur cycle.

Glad that there is no much side effects.

Good that your scan went well.

Good that 3 are of good quality. Praying that they all make it to day 5.

Yes, your doctor's advice is good, since the cost is the same for any number of embryos.

Have you decided on when to do another stimulation?

Thanks for your good wishes.

Hello Ladies. Hope we are all doing well.

Well, today I had my last scan before trigger today.

My doctor is pleased with how I am responding.
So, I will trigger tomorrow evening for collection on Monday.

They said they will tell me number of follicles later but from the screen I was able to count up to 12. I guess it could be more.
Praying that they are of good quality.

I will trigger with HCG. Please is it taken on the stomach or buttocks.
My buttocks is finished ooo.

Hcg injections is taken intramuscular. So you take hcg injection on your buttocks.

Hope you are on some kind of electrolytes? If not please start right away. Coconut water, boiled eggs with tiny bit of salt (a pitch) will do. Take this with water. This will prevent or reduce drastically hyper stimulation (very painful, you don't want that)

You can get 100% organic packaged coconut water too. You could get this in big supermarkets. If you stay in Lagos you can buy in Balogun market, where they sell packed and bottle drinks (just ask around where they sell foreign drinks. But they sell in carton and cheaper. A carton is about 4k and above). 12 per carton for the small ones, and 6 per carton for the big ones. Make sure you are also taking water too. Take at least two packs/bottles per day with water or 1 per day of the big size (the big size is about a litre).

You can also use our local coconut water if you like.

Sorry dear. You could take coconut water. You should have started 3 days before retrieval to about 4 days after. It is very effective at stopping the pain/hyper stimulation of the ovaries.

Herbs That Can End Infertility In Men And Women

A myriad of factors, play a role in determining one’s fertility. If you and your partner have been looking to conceive for a while but haven't had any luck, there are natural remedies that could help.

Herbs act as supplements to a healthy diet to help boost your body’s regular functioning, detoxify the body, help to stimulate the endocrine system which regulates hormone production as fertility is largely dependent on sex hormones and work to modulate the immune system (which could falsely identify a foetus as an external threat and prevent pregnancy).

Remedies & How They Work To Improve Fertility

1. Liquorice

Liquorice helps balance blood sugar levels, acts as anti-inflammatory, aids digestion and helps cervical mucus production.
It works to improve fertility in two ways;

- It helps detoxify and repair the liver, support the endocrine system and modulate the immune system. All three of these functions contribute to better overall hormonal health.

- It is a phytoestrogen, i.e., while it is not produced by the body, it acts as oestrogen does. Phytoestrogen binds to oestrogen receptor sites, and so blocks these sites being bound by xenohormones( foreign molecules that bind to hormone receptors and hamper the health of the body).

When taking liquorice supplements, always stick to the recommended dosage. Do not consume in large quantities.

2. Ginger

Add fresh grated ginger to dishes while cooking or throw a dash of dried ginger into your cup of tea in the morning. It works to reduce heavy menstrual flow which could be a sign of certain problems with your reproductive system. If that's the case, regular use of ginger can help you regulate the flow and make you feel better.

3. Wild Watermelon

Botanically called Citrullus lanatus, wild watermelon, is another herb that can help you with an irregular...

Dear if you want quality eggs and quantity this is what you must take for 3months:

DHEA 25mg x 3 daily = 75mg daily
Ubiquinol 100mg (2wice or 3rice daily)
Pregnacare (a cap daily)
Omega 3 plus vitamin D (2 to 3X Daily)
Vitamin C
Eat healthy and add atleast a egg daily to your diet (stock up on protein, vegies and fruits)
Exercise, not vigorous. Just walking will help blood flow to your reproductive organs/ovaries ( at least take 30 mins walk daily)

Most importantly pray pray and pray.
