Ebi has massively improved in her defence duties and her calmness and timely tackles are delight to watch
She's the most improved Nigerian player

For Porto B..

I hope the duo of Musa and Kelechi can request for a loan for to modest club in the Belgian league.. This can bring a necessary resurgence to their dwindling careers cool
Maybe for Musa,Nwakali even failed to cut it in the Eredivisie.

Seriously she was the best defender in Cameroon. What she did was quiet the talk of her being too old

Exactly
Ordega really leave up to her expectations...
She might not be the quickest or strongest but Franny was always one step ahead owing to her intelligence and experience. She should have taken that penalty based on form

lol. Watch those players that made her bench worthy and you'd understand. The 4teams are all worthy opponents o, women football intelligence in Africa is fast uprising. She's however the face of the SE no doubt.

Sorry but it makes zero sense. This woman was the woman of the match in the finals, she already won one against Zambia in a match that was absolutely crucial to our qualifying from the group. She was the best offensive player in the best team of the competition I just don't get why she didn't make it.

her first senior tournament 19 years old cut her some slack

So far, Rashidat Ajibade has proven to be all hypes and nothing more. Before u try to give excuses, remember the ages of the South African players she came up against, besides, she didnt do no jack few months ago at the U20 worldcup.

I raised eyebrows when CAF increased the number of teams to 24. For CAF to cope with this format they have to make the AFCON once in 4yrs. This will allow enough time for hosting countries to put their facilities together.

With this format of 24 teams and 6 venues and AFCON once in 2yrs CAF will continue to withdraw hosting rights.

BTW who is to host the 2021 AFCON? Have they commenced preparations? Can they put up 6 venues within a short time?

CAF needs to either revert to 16 teams hence 4 venues or alternatively maintain the 24 teams but make the tournament every 4yrs.
There are countries who can host but the problem is that this will shutout many other countries who wouldn't dream of bidding from now on.

Ordega deserve to be in that starting 11. She is better than that Cameroonian Nguene girl and even that Basira of Mali.

Ordega was always playing close to the sidelines which is closer to where we stood so I saw her at very close range. Her football sense was Phenomenal. Awesome to watch. Shes always one step ahead of her marker such that with her first touch alone her marker was always behind her. And she is a very direct kind of player, always running into dangerous areas. She was the most popular name in the stands last night.

South Africa has indicated interest in hosting the AFCON.. Egypt are another unconfirmed bidder...

Morocco IMO are in pole position to win the hosting right

If South Africa host it. Then the final qualifier match with Libya won't matter.... Libya won't be in afcon

Yeah that's true.

Infact it is wisdom to allow hosts take part in qualifiers. At least now Cameroon can still participate even though they are no longer hosts.

But Libya then should encourage their North African neighbors to take the hosting right issue seriously.

You have a valid point though.

As for player of the year, does Ebi stand a chance?

I believe so. Kgatlana though....

Ebi silenced her, so I think Ebi should edge her.

I hear person call Osho.... pls it better be oshogbo the person is calling!!

does anybody has an idea why falcons shun their coach yesterday when they were jubilating after the penalty shootout.

If they consider club form then she wins again. I think she has 3 trophies this season.

To me Ebi would be a great story but CAF rarely award defenders

Exactly, this is a player who knows exactly what she wants and how to get it. The direct nature of her game was a breath of fresh air. I think her being pretty makes people to take her for granted

Because he's clueless undecided

Onome Ebi was having an interview and was asked about the impact of the new coach and she avoided the question
