Diversionary

The 20 new political units (19 states+Abuja) proliferated by northern military dictators in one northern region are what shall majorly decide the 2019 presidential election.
A candidate needs 25% of votes in 24 states to be declared winner.

The rigged and lopsided political structure is reason why a cow from northern region can easily win a professor of Law from the southern regions of Nigeria in Nigeria's presidential election.

Atiku and Buhari are competing to lead a country awash with all sorts of younger and better educated people. The rigged political structure is the reason.

There should have been more states in the two southern regions than in the one northern region.

I guess this write up is for non Nigerians...because if it's for Nigerians it wouldn't be about the history of both candidates.
I was expecting it to be about their catchment areas. Just disappointed.

When Peter Obi's name was in the list of possible VP nominee, I told everyone he would be the one. It came to pass.

No doubt Mr Obi will pull great votes from all Nigerians, but the greater factor here is the feelings of Nigerians about the present state of the country.

Osibanjo may be a good man , but his affiliation with APC and Buhari is bad luck for him.

More than anything, it is the need to vote out the current president that will decide.

Peter Obi is not enjoying the support of political bigwigs in SE, therefore victory is not sure for Atiku in all the SE states.
How is he now going to help Atiku win in other regions? On the other hand, Osinbajo is loved and respected all over the country.

If you think the elites dictate the way people vote in the South East, you are delusional

...and they forgot that Peter Obi is a staunch Catholic. The votes of the Christians will arguably work for PDP. Catholics are larger in number compared to that of Redeemed Church.

It remains truth that people don't vote in SE, INEC only allocate resuts to candidates.
This is why the party at the centre always win in your region.

Peter Obi’s selection was a smart move by Atiku. Obi is brilliant, a change agent who was a former bank director, managed Anambra resources very prudently, and enjoys the confidence of the average voter from the SE and other parts of the country who have knowledge of his antecedents.

Osinbajo
Osinbajo on the one hand used to be seen as the one right thing in Buhari’s seemingly disoriented leadership, but with recent controversies related to lies, collusion, even fraud, the APC ticket with him on it has no more flavors

The difference is clear

How come Obi could not mobilize votes for the PDP in last year's guber election in Anambra?

Yes, he saved billions for Ndi Anambra in two banks, one of which he has substantial interests, while gully erosion continued to ravage his state.

He could not come with a workable blueprint on how to tackle the erosion menace in the state.

Fortunately, I have met both men at very close quarters, I had a little chat with Obi this October....my brother man, I tell you the gospel truth, he is no match for Prof. Osinbajo.

We already know ke!

Osinbajo wants to foster a Yoruba presidency come 2023. wink

Obi knows an Igbo President is not possible in 2023,
Obi will gladly settle for a 2 term, hoping Atiku would spend more days in a London or U.A.E. hospital like “JUBRIL”. . . . Chances that Atiku will finish 2 terms? 50:50.
Then again, there is the “CLONING” option from Chad or Niger Republic! grin

Either way, a FULANI goes to Aso Rock in 2019. wink
The NORTH must complete the 8 years without interruption.

The real game starts with 2023!

Tinubu is itching to answer “President”.

Looking forward to a Nigeria where such duo will be running as president and vice president of a mega party; not as vice presidents to people we either seem not to trust or not having the political prowess.

Who is interested in Obi or Osibanjo? The focus is Atiku n Buhari and Buhari must go cos he is not in charge not to talk of Osibanjo who is just there to complete the yoruba/christain quota

The article reads that Buhari is in charge of two of agenda - security and corruption ( we know how much he has failed in this regard) and Osibanjo is in charge of the economy. SMH ( how poor our economy has become) . it also mentioned the social intervension program as Osibanjo's effort to reviving the economy. So do the math yourself. This isn't the time to support someone for religious or ethnic sake. forget omoluabi, I wont vote APC in the coming election. Omoluabi or not the economy is harsh enough. Rubbish.

Obi is known in the SOUTH east only and he is not even an accepted candidate. Most South East Governors have reached agreements with the President. The election is gone. Intelligent observers know this.

The international community is unhappy with the APC government; HSBC and Barcklays Banks left Nigeria because there was no more money to transfer abroad.

57 Billion was forfeited to the Government because no one came to claim them, over 500 billion stolen money recovered, OML AND OPL licences for oil to be revisited. Now all the people that have lost all these monies are doing everything they can to sabotage this government.

THAT IS THE TRUTH. WE CAN JUDGE THIS GOVERNMENT BETTER IN 8 YEARS. THERE IS SO MUCH ATTACK ON OSINBAJO BECAUSE, THE OPPOSITION KNOWS THAT HE IS THE BRAIN BEHIND THIS GOVERNMENT.

Osinbajo doesn't know where and when important decisions of president Buhari and cabal are taken.

Even the DSS boss appointed by Osinbajo when Buhari was out, the DSS boss was unceremoniously discharged from duty.

Buhari has appointed his close relation as INEC chair. PDP kept mute, because whenever Buhari or Atiku wins, power still resides in the north
Re: How Osinbajo, Obi Will Affect 2019 Calculations by IbrahimDamola: 5:36am On Dec 03, 2018
According to Cardoso, in a political climate where ethnicity and religious affiliations are key considerations of winning electorates’ support, Osinbajo has an edge by belonging to the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), an evangelical church with mass followership in the South-West.

“Many may want to tell you that the church’s General Overseer is apolitical, but that’s to the extent of being fair to all and sundry. When the whole thing comes to the crunchy time, we know where the pendulum can swing in terms of political sympathy.

This confirms our long held believe that RCCG is an APC church and Adeboye is a card-carrying APC member.

Know it today that anyday you attend RCCG and give offerings or tithes you are donating to APC, you are donating to a party that have brought killings, hardship and murder if innocent citizens. If you are anti-APC and anti-Jibrin leave RCCG and stop fooling yourself. Give yourself brain.

No wonder pastor Adeboye refused to condemn the killing of the RCCG woman pastor in Abuja by muslim hausa APC members. Condemning the killing woukd have amouted to Anti-party activity.

RCCG is APC.
Level-headed Christians should leave now.
