I'm thinking of buying a 2007/2008 Infiniti FX45. I've always loved that car.

Is there anyone that has used (or still uses) this car? What's the maintenance like? I know it's a V8, so it will gulp fuel. I don't mind that aspect.

Is it a reliable car?

I await your honest reviews.

My brother/sister most of the people that are telling not to buy infact 90% of these people can't afford it. If you can maintain it and you have a good mechanic.. Buy it and if you can source for good parts buy it. A lot of Nigerians barely can maintain regular cars, and the same people will turn around and tell you not to buy a particular car coz of XY and Z .
Let me tell you a funny story, I was looking at a nice C240 few weeks ago .. As I was looking at the engine bay ,there was a Mobil tag sign near the oil cap.. That means recommended oil is Mobil. Most people that are advising not to buy the fx45 will in reality ignore the Mobil oil recommendation on that Benz. And same people will tell you that Benz is high maintenance. Worse case scenario, you can drive the fx45 on the weekend or drive it on special occasions

You self never driven fx45 . Nobody should be given car advice unless they have driven the car before.. .. And the ones that have driven the car before ,that are saying that the car is not a good car. Chances are didn't maintain the car .. On my last trip home I saw fx45 on street. The ones I saw looked so unkept, I shook my head ..the fx45 is a luxury car ,not a Toyota or camry that people drive anyhow... .. Bad maintenance is the root of all the cars that get damaged.. .. Am sure u self no dey maintain the little bicycle car u drive
