@POLITICSNGR

Information reaching the PoliticsNGR newsdesk on Tuesday morning reveals that the National Assembly has been shut down by workers protesting over unpaid salaries.

Angry staff shutdown both chambers of the parliament.They were protesting the non-payment of salaries, allowances and non-promotion by the management of the National Assembly.

The Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, and some lawmakers who attempted to gain access into the two chambers, were stopped by the angry workers.

For over five minutes, Ekweremadu, tried without success, to convince the protesting staff.

He had to access his office through another route. Photos below;

People that will come here commending this protesting workers, are same people that chastise ASUU, NLC, NMA and the others for going on strike because it affects their dullard.

The Nigerian worker deserves his wages (living wage), be it a staff of Buhari, Saraki or the Notorious Yahaya Bello.

Nigeria is broke so we won't be able to pay their salary, more also we are trying to work on the new minimum wage that's why you haven't receive your salary..

I don't blame those rogue we keep up there I blame the useless youths who support them after inflicting hardship on us all, this guys transfer at least a million naira to their kids monthly for upkeep, but 80% of Nigerian youth hardly boast of 50k monthly.

No wonder why one of them said the new minimum wage will cause inflation.
