Moral of the Story.....let's start holding our boys to higher standards so that chukwueze's career doesn't go the same direction same way KC's career is currently going. That was how we hyped KC when\ he scored a lone goal in 7 matches and started comparing him to Mbappe (greatest football sin this year).

Chukwueze is trying and has been quite impressive considering his background but I know he can do ,uch better

am not downgrading him..he really tried. But did he really work hard? he won ligue 1 with Monaco then signed for PSG that has veratti,Di maria ,Neymar,draxler and cavani. This is a pure luck mehn. Then during the WC,he had kante ,griezman,pogba et al around him. Luck? yes but hard work? No.

Abi oo... Most times,the type of team mates you have around you can influence your performance.. When Iheanacho was at Man city surrounded by world class players he was regarded as world class by some.. Now look at him at Leicester and his averageness has been exposed.. In the sane vein,you don't have to be surround end by world class players before your quality can show.. Like Kante and Mahrez who were stars in an average Leicester team...

Both of the players you mentioned above didn't play in farmer's league . Sanchez ' main problem is indiscipline, he was a classy MF. Isco is still a decent player.

Ogenyi Onazi has lost his role as one of the vice captains of the Super Eagles of Nigeria with coach Gernot Rohr omitting his name from the players who will captain the team during games.

Onazi played the role of vice captain to Mikel Obi for the first two years of the reign of Rohr as coach but lost his spot prior to the World Cup in Russia and it appears it has also cost him his role as one of the captains of the team.

While analysing the role of Musa and how it differs from that of Mikel as captain, the coach named Udinese defender William Troost-Ekong as the third captain of the team in the absence of Mikel and Musa who are the first and second captains respectively.

Rohr said all three players have shown leadership qualities on and off the pitch hence his decision to trust them with the armband and he further explained that the role of a captain extends beyond the ninety minutes they spend on the pitch.

“Musa’s leadership of the team has worked very well because he brings the right spirit to the group, which is very important. He is a younger man than Mikel with a different mentality”, Rohr said.

“The captain is very important because he can help me to bring to the team not only the right spirit, but also the right organisation on the pitch and off it.

“We spend about 22 hours of the day and perhaps two hours on the pitch. He also helps in the hotel and in the travelling, which is very important.

“Mikel is also a fantastic captain. He brings a certain calm to the team and the players respect for what he has achieved. We are blessed because in his absence Musa has done well. Even if Musa is not around we have our third captain, Troost-Ekong, who is also a very good character and an example for all these young players we have now.”

Mbappe is playing for a bigger team than Villarreal. If Mbappe was playing with Villarreal on sunday with the same players on the Villarreal's side, He will be handled the same way Chukwueze was handled.


Mbappe could not hurt a fly against Liverpool even with the quality of players on his side. How much more with Villarreal against Barcelona?

Come on, This same Chukwueze was the best player in the field for 20 minutes plus above Messi and the whole Barcelona team until they gave him more than one man to mark him. Even at that he was the best in his team in that match.
It is easier stop a star player in a team of average/below average players than a team of star players. It is equally difficult to stop a team with star players.

Mbappe would have done nada in that match .
