But am only talking about the stance of Redmi 5 plus come 2019

It will never be a bad device in 2019, the design will never not be trendy so long Samsung s8/s9 are still pleasing the eyes. Most people prefer the 18:9 display to 19:9 so I see no reason why it will be bad in 2019. If for anything the wide notch design will fizzle out next year, it will die a quick death.

I have never had to pay custom fees more than N500 for all my orders in aliexpress... I got a phone worth 55k (Redmi 6 pro) around October from aliexpress and I paid only N300 to clear it

I swear some resellers don't know how to relate with their customers. I added one guy here, don't want to mention his name. Right from d onset, he was just bashing for asking questions, I took it with faith kept chatting with him becoz i know i have my temper issues too, asked him if he has mi band 3. Baba was telling me I should go and buy elsewhere as if I didnt know b4 I contacted him. No time to waste time. If na nxt yr I go buy my phone. No p, but ain't buying from a rude seller

As much as I love this device, the build is what I hate. It's really getting too common this days. It's the same thing you will find in the Huawei Nova i3 and the nonsense phone tecno released about two weeks back

BTW, it's priced at $199
