Good morning people of God, I've been a silent reader for a while now and i have some questions that needs clarification.

My husband is the PA, his age 35 and work experience 4 years (software engineer) isn't giving us a good CRS score (385), the problem is that i don't have a degree(only finished secondary school). even if i take the English test i cant add much value to his score( around 400).
if we can get his company branch in Canada to employ him, will it be accepted as a job offer? secondly, if we do not get a valid job offer what can we do? thirdly, from the six selection factor he has about 70point plus which means he is eligible to apply for EE...the one that is confusing my life and destiny is the difference between CRS and Six SELECTION FACTOR.

please my questions might not be arranged well but i need help. i appreciate everyone of us on this thread, God bless you.

If it's foundation diploma, the answer is no.
Many thanks for your response. How do you mean by FOUNDATION DIPLOMA? Cos someone on this thread just lifted my hopes this morning that WES would acknowledge it as 2 (he/she doesn't know if other evaluation bodies will)

It means your husband is eligible for EE but his CRS cannot meet the cut off point. You people have at least three options thus:

1. Getting a job offer in Canada that meets the IRCC specified job categories (either by transfer to Canada or fresh job offer). This will boost the family CRS to hopefully meet the cut off.

2. Use the PNP route. This is where a province nominates the candidate for EE. There's another thread for that, check it out.

3. Husband and wife getting additional qualifications, maybe just a year diploma. With this and maxing IELTS by both of you, CRS coukd climb to 430s. Other avenues could be explored such as French language test, claiming points from relatives if any, PA applying unaccompanied, etc to increase CRS.

Bonus options:
4. Check the trade skills options if wife has some trade/skills certification.

5. Use the study route by gaining MSc admission in Canada.

6. Forget about canada and look at other countries like Australia, etc.

Top of the morning to you and thanks for your response. I've just received more information that if its a FOUNDATION DIPLOMA, it wouldn't be recognized as me having 2 - a diploma and a degree. How true is that?

You can register for NOUN PGD or any private school, not sure of an Online course tho.... or you can retake the ielts and max-out your score to get the CRS score of 441. U never know, u may be lucky and the draws would come out in your favor. Good luck.

Guys please, my profile on WES platform has been like the one on the screenshot for some time now, even though I have not submitted all the required documents.

This means I am unable to view status of documents they update on my behalf when received. I have contacted them severally but nothing was done to correct it.

If anyone had experienced this in time past, kindly let me know what you did differently to correct it

UNILAG has a programme previously and popularly called "Foundation Studies" (now called JUPEB) that awards an A Level diploma (Foundation Diploma). The diploma is accepted for DE admission into Universities and is considered part of your first degree (100 Level) if used to gain admission.

I think the status will change when they receive transcripts from your University(ies), WAEC/NECO and when there have sent out verification mails to your school(s).

This has been my status too since 2nd week in November and they have received only copies of my certficates and are yet to receive transcripts from my school(s), eventhough i believe by now they should have received it as my school(s) have confirmed they sent it a week a ago.
