The Kashimbilla Hydropower Plant in Taraba State is 100 per cent complete and will commence generating about 40 megawatts (MW) of electricity by February, 2019, to the national grid, the Federal Government has said.
Flashback:Work commenced on the Project in 2016, when Minister of Power, Works and Housing said that work would begin this year on the 40 megawatts Kashimbila Hydro Power Plant in Taraba.

Fashola said this while speaking with newsmen in Maiduguri after a tour of projects in the North East.

FactCheck: This project started as far back as 2007...any project the present government starts will take 4-5 years or more to accomplish (EPC Projects is not politics don't quote me).

But instead they chose to remain clueless until the very end.... Now they are running to and fro like the NEXT DEVILs that they are looking for how to wet the appetite of the gullible...

Good development with the damn.... Hope it will be maintained as Nigeria has an abysmal record in that area

i dont care to know who started a project all i want to see is the project serving the purpose for which it was put in place.
Government is a continuum, and the money used to run a government is not owned by an individual, rather it is money generated from our collective wealth and sacrifice.
if i happen to be in power today, I will choose to complete all abandoned projects before embarking on new ones.

This project started far back during the previous administration, but the way we handle things in this country, make it difficult for project to survive speedy execution. But am happy it's competed now, have been to that place in 2006, during my youth service
