I will never forget how I had to let go of a very expensive body spray of 200mls that I just bought because I was told that it was against their flight protocol. I had no other option than to give it as a gift to the airport workers.

Yes it was! It's also possible that your body spray was allowed because it was 100mls. My perfume of 100mls was allowed but the body spray of 200mls WS not allowed.
