I just rewatched Suicide Squad but this time with an analytical mind. That Movie is freaking awesome. I still don't understand why people or should I say critics bash the movie. Everything about the movie was just perfect. The plot, storyline, action scenes, characters (most especially Deadshot, Harley Quinn, El Dibio, Joker, Amanda Waller and Echantress), CGI (okay aside from those of Killer Croc and Enchantress Minions [they look disgusting. I felt like throwing up when I saw them]), Comic (thanks to Harley Quinn), Dark tone were just legit and so on point not forgetting the emotional aspect of it.

A movie about self centered criminals been used by a self centered government that only cares about their image to undertake secret missions for them but circumstances turned the self centered criminals into Selfless Humanitarian. What a plot, Epic.

Suicide Squad was dark, intense, brute, captivating and awesome.
It's dark tone is right for the movie because the movie is about criminals and criminals are dark people (not in complexion oh ), so the dark theme of the movie is just right for it.

For me the movie is great and it doesn't deserve the criticism and bashing it got but life has a way of compensating as the bashed movie was a financial success grossing over $746 million. At least that's something to compensate for it's critical bomb, a box office hit.

For Me Suicide Squad Is An Awesome Movie.

I honestly feel the only way you can accurately judge these movies is if they were released the same time which obviously it wasnt. I say this because before the marvel movies ( and thus birthing Universes) only batman and superman movies were prominent. Those start up movies laid the groundwork for any comic book movie thus far, apart from that there's 7-10 years between both start up movies, during which time comic book movies became much more popular in cinemas and there's also inflation.
The question I find interesting is, if the MCU or the start up movies were released today do you think they wouldn't out gross the start up DCEU movies?

The Flash movie has to be one of the most unfortunate projects at WB.

The movie had a March 2018 release date.
WB changed the director twice.
Pushed the movie back to start production in 2020....imagine that.

They say that Flash movie had to be delayed because Ezra Miller will be shooting Fantastic Beasts 3...one of WB's money spinners.

The Batman has a director and a script and could start production in late 2019 but without Ben Affleck.

It is obvious that Man Of Steel 2 may never happen.
Heck, WB wants to bring in a fresh Kryptonian in Supergirl.

I hope The Batman matches TDK in commercial success.
So that WB will take the character seriously and not dump him like they did Superman.

Apparently the only language Warner Bros understands is MONEY.

films are made for a target audience and target market. Without them, the studio would be out of business. Disney kn0ws this, that's why they're able to trump the market. WB doesn't. They just rely on a loyal fan base like harry potter and CB fans. They don't branch out to include other publics or audience.
