Good day, pls I need the opinion of married people on this forum especially married women.I am married to a beautiful wife for 8yrs and blessed with 2kids and we are done with having kids.Our last born is 5yrs and since then we have adopted Withdrawal method of Family Planning because she said any method of contraception is not suitable for her body which I have endured with her ,in order not to be self centre for desire for my own pleasure and put her in unhealthy situation.
The Withdrawal method is getting boring to me , and is making the love making to me less attractive.I love my wife and I want mutual satisfaction for us.
Pls I need your advice on choice of family planning. Thanks.

She has tried injection method before, she said is hormonal and painful ,every other methods she is judging them by ear saying.

I understand sir bcus body differs...

But how did she react to it sir(the injection)?

For some,the injection siuts thier body perfectly!
For some,the loop(copper iud whc also have the non hormonal),and also the arm implant.
All these have their side effects but the bottom line is that she is "safe".
She could try any of these for six(6) months and see how it goes... but MUST speak with a Gynea to know what suits her...

Go to a family Planning clinic, there are several options apart from injectables

You can also consider using a condom, condoms are a means of family planning too

Something is telling me your wife wants another child .

Well, visit a genealogist together with your wife and discuss best option for you guys.

I don't know how people feels so comfortable when giving others power over them.

my husband insisted I go for FB , I did and it made me fatter , I was getting fat uncessarily. I tried the injection method and I bled for more than one month, I think your wife and I are going though the same challenge. my husband hates condoms sometimes I just wish he can do the FP instead of me. I've been through a lot already

Cancer is real. Stay alive and healthy to take care of the kids you have now. You can try non-hormornal methods or allow Oga do family planning. It's no longer limited to women.

Yeah bro..that cancer stuff is scary. It is an every day diagnosis where I am.
Simply, cut the vas deferens and tie the tube if you cannot abstain or use condom

She can combine calendar method with a reliable cycle app, so she knows her safe period. A woman can get pregnant in only 6-7 days of the month. If she gets a good app e. g Flo or clue. It can help know her fertile days, so you guys can avoid doing anything for those 6 days. If you must do, use a condom! Most women react adversely to some family planing methods. Again the calendar method works best when a woman has regular periods. So if her cycle is irregular, a gynae can treat that first, before she commences the calendar method for pregnancy prevention.

you got me @ I've been thru a lot already * warm hugs sis * . anyways we have been using withdrawal and my husband is now speaking of FP for me and honestly I'm not keen on experiencing what others have experienced and the side effects later on too esp with cancer flying around like someone mentioned.
