Very Nice OP, thanks for this information
Please, I wish to know if there is any entry examination requirements for graduate membership, as an exam is required to be a Professional Engineer(PE) in most foreign nations.
Thanks again,

After becoming a member of NSE, all you need do to get COREN certification is to apply to coren filling their form, state your NSE membership no, submit a copy of your project that was used for NSE, and you are on your way of being a registered engineer.
By the way, NSE is just an association, COREN is the main thing, you can also join COREN without being a member of NSE.
There are other engineering group that can give you leverage towards joining COREN.
Or if you are in a hurry, you can apply to coren directly, but remember, almost all core board members were once NSE president one time or the other, so be ready to be grilled, well and this is Nigeria.

To what benefit is this?

Let's face the truth!

How many youths can even afford the membership with the high rate of unemployment?

NSE is over 200k. Start to finish. COREN is roughly 70k
So total package is roughly 300k including picking up your COREN certificate stamp and seal in abuja personally or by proxy. And if your date falls mid year. You'll be forced to pay for Annual Congress of 10k.
