Maybe we should just obey instructions? I don't know, these people don't make mistakes. I 'll go to vfs with the requirements and talk to them. If they say submit, I don't care if it gets stamped on the moon,as long as it comes back to me. Afterall our application was processed in another country aswell. Maybe it has something with this present Accra holdup and India is less busy? I don't know, just thinking out loud. peteronota: 1 Like |

I am so grateful to God and even if I had a million tongues it will never be enough to say thank you Father. Special thanks to every helpful person here that keeps answering questions and updating page 1(pg 1 was my friend and very resourceful for me), so pls when they say search the threads and consult pg- 1, truly most answers are there. My timeline is below. Decision to travel in Oct 2016 Ielts Aug 2017 lrsw 9,8,7.5,7.5 Wes may2018 (actually applied in sept 2017 but my results were not complete in the transcript sent to wes, by the time I found out during Xmas 2017, nasu was on strike, and so the agonising wait of 6 months till may 2018 when my evaluation came through ) Ita- mid may can't recall the exact date Aor- July 19th Ip1- Aug 22 Med passed Aug 23 ip2 Nov 16 Ppr Dec 7 Single applicant. Vo ottawa I pray even as I venture into a whole new frontier, Jehovah will continue to guide me because as a young single girl going to a strange land, I feel kind of apprehensive suddenly but I leave it all in God's hands as he has never failed me, and I don taya for this buhari situation wey we dey.. please while on this journey don't give up. Yeyyyyyyyyy it’s PPR ppl Decision to travel 1st Jan 2018. Dou I had attempted it back in 2014. WES evaluation 20th March 2018 Equivalent to Canada Masters Studied for ielts from Feb to March ending. 2 hrs each day after work cos piling won’t let me learn if I go home Apr 7th - ielts exams Apr 23rd - ielts results LRWS 8.5, 8, 7, 8 Same day EE profile created CRS -456 Apr 25th - ITA Sister don relax cos I sabi say I get 90 days Now I go dig for my passports; only to realise it had my wrong place of birth. Had to look for my birth cert to make a new one. Had an affidavit done and new passport issued. My last baby also needed a passport. I spent all day at the passport office cos this pikin won’t take picha. I was so burned I nearly took her out of the application(I was that frustrated). She eventually took it with the help of her nanny. I relax my body and continued to gather docs POF: 100% gift deed from my brother in the UK. I added my own money dou and pushed it all to Stanlin Investments. I showed both my last 6months bank statement, bank letters and investment letters. All very easy to get Proof of Employment: very easy PCC: another walk over I do lasi lasi for here sha. I gathered docs to upload on July 13th only to realise I needed upfront medicals���� How did I miss that? My deadline was 25th July 2018. To make matters worse, hubby is in London and his earliest appt was 6th Aug!!! See madam sweating!!! Called IRCC severally and couldn’t get through. Wanted to find out if submitting appointment will be enough and then upload the medicals once it’s ready. When I eventually got through agent said I can do that but my application can be considered as incomplete. No choice but to decline invitation. I was morosed. Was a shadow of my self awaiting next draw. Declined on 18th July and got another ITA on 25th July. Did medicals on 6th Aug Hubbys medicals on 10th Wrote LOE to explain change in passport, POF, Spouse unaccompanying AOR - 11th Aug MEP- 13th Sept ( my daughters birthday) Biometrics submitted -17th Sept ADR - 18th Oct Authorization to travel for the kids for my husband. Had 7days to submit. Lawyer disappointed hubby on the last day. It was God who made him get another one without an appointment to notarize them. Uploaded on the 7th day. ADR- 7th Nov RPRF. Paid same day Ghost update - 16th Nov ADR changed to NA - 27th Nov Filled a web form to inquire abt application status on 5th Dec as trying to call IRCC proved unsuccessful. 6th Dec- Agent replies that they have made a decision and will communicate in due course PPR - 7th Dec Woke up this morning to plenty congratulatory messages on various Cannyland platforms. I said nothing spoil, make I check my mail too. Voila..... PPR sitting right there. My heart is overwhelmed. I have been through some shorty period these past years and God has given me an opportunity to smile again. It has indeed ended in praise. Thanks Nairaland. U people are awesome. I chanced on this platform after my AOR though but it is still been super helpful. May the PPR rain continue for everyone waiting. But they requested the passports to be sent to India o! Its PPR my country people. I got the golden email this morning 4am Naija time in my Spam folder. I have been a silent reader and follower of this thread and I must say you guys have been really great and wonderful. I will write my story as short as I can. I made up my mind to relocate in December 2017, immediately I paid for WES and IELTS and Lautech transcripts before Christma. I had the IELTS in Jan 2018 and God helped me I cleared it in one sitting L.R.W.S. 8,9,7,7 I used youtube videos all through to practice. My UK uni sent the transcripts to WES FOC, then the wait began for Almighty Lautech to send transcripts to WES, there were alot of back and forth, but they eventually sent it in March after sending a very worded mail to the DVC and Registrar, dont ask how I got their email, lol. WES completed evaluation in May, I entered the pool in June and I got ITA with the round of June 13 with CRS 469. I had to wait till August to submit the PR application as I was out of the country and didnt get back till July ending. I had the medical test at Q-Life, they wasted time, but I just kept cool and got it done with. PCC was done by a police officer in my office for 5k. I submitted the application on August 11, then the wait began, Medical passed in Sep. 17, did biometrics the next day. I got RPRF in Oct 17th and for a reason the wording of the letter got me confused and I thought PPR was just like days away, ever since then I have been unable to sleep, checking CIC account several times a day to see any movement. Just yesterday, I decided to get a life and start learning something new which should distract me from checking CIC every hour. And all Glory to God PPR dropped this morning asking me to send passport to New Delhi office. Thanks all for your valuable contribution, you guys are the best. Wish everyone success all round. Congrats to all PPR recipeints. Let the rain continue Father! As regards sending to India, i think you guys need to get to VFS Abj or Lag and hear what they have to say. Chances are you will pay there and they courier it to India same way they did when it was sent to Accra for stamping. Please anybody that goes this morning should give us feedback and also update us when they get their passport back so we can have an idea how long it would take to get the passport back. May the maple land favor all of us and I pray for strength and patience for the rest of us as we wait( I have checked my profile a gazillion times this morning lmao). 18 Likes |
