These schools are very good schools but the issue of cultism is the reason not standard.

Little wonder why FedPoly Ede didn't grant my younger bro admission for his HND after having his ND in Kwarapoly. if I had known this earlier, we wouldn't have wasted resources, time and risked his life travelling to Ede.He almost became a nuisance when he couldn't get the admission, blaming us for his idleness until he got enlisted into NPF.

Truth is we also wanted him out of Kwarapoly because cultism is too much in that school and we don't want him getting involved

I am very sure there reason is because those schools you listed above are hotbed of cultists. The school is only trying to minimize their admission of hardcore cultists but I am not sure if it's sensible or not.

This information was brought to my notice as one of my brother who is seeking admission into the HND program 2018/2019 of FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC EDE.

He started the admission processes by doing the online payment of 15k, he sat for the written entrance exam and his exam result was even greater than the department merit requirement.

The admission list for both merit and supplementary candidate was pasted and his name was not among,he summon the courage to go and meet the Dean of student affairs of the school and was told today by the school Dean of student affairs that the school does not admit students fromm the following schools:

Polytechnic of Ibadan,
IREE poly,
Kwara poly,
Lagos state poly and
ESA Oke polytechnic for the past 15 years

...and my brother did his OND program in polytechnic of Ibadan.

My questions now is why don't they make it official as part of their conditions before prospective students apply for their school form,why the underground discrimination, does our concern educational sectors knows about this and lastly why is it that such atrocities given low awareness. This is not fair on us.

The Nigerian system requires you to figure that out yourself.

i am a student of Federal polytechnic ede, the truth is that those schools are good academically especially poly ibadan , but edepoly don't admit students from those school for HND mainly due to their history of cultism and violence (esp iree, kwara and ESE oke poly).

searching for admission at EDE i got an opportunity to sat with their registrar
then and the man show me the list of the schools they dont admit the poly ibd
is the no 1, and i have all the qualifications then, so the man said he was sorry
