Yes antibiotics can cure it, it’s not something serious and it’s very common. I’ve had it before, it normally goes away by itself within a few days. If it doesn’t go away in let’s say 3-4days, then you need to visit a doctor as it may be something more serious. But you will be fine.

My fiance has an same issue years back. It was a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) and she had to urinate practically every hour. However, please go to a good hospital and do tests.

Best thing to do in situation like this is to go to a good hospital for test and treatment. many comments here won't help or change your situation.

It's possible you have UTI in which case antibiotics or urinary antiseptics will take care of it.However,you seem to be complaining of a chronic condition here,you may probably be having hyperactive urinary bladder.Try and see a doctor.

Go and meet a urologist. You have urinary frequency, and it results from overactive urinary bladder. Nairaland is not the best place to get proper medical advice.

Yes it can cause frequent urination. Please see a doctor for the appropriate drug prescription.
In the mean time, take oranges as much as you can, a doctor once advised this to someone I know, he said it contain acid that help fight the bacteria that might be responsible for UTI (in case your UTI is the case here, I suspect it though)

STD can infect both sexually and non sexually active persons. Go for STD test, it won't cost you much.

Only time I had an issue like this was when I had kidney stones. But I don't think it's the same thing with you because you would have been having pains. UTI for this long would have been noticed too. Get tested for diabetes and maybe UTI. Where are you based? Please look for a reputable lab for the test.

You should go to a medical lab and do a urine culture test, blood sugar level test also.

Those just help to check if you have urinary tract infection or diabetes.

Most importantly, visit a hospital

Go to the hospital. I'd prefer you sacrifice one working day at a general hospital. Get the necessary test done, and if it's UTI, you'll be told. It's definitely an infection and if not treated, may graduate to something else. Don't be too worried.

No advice here is helpful without a proper laboratory investigation. Urinary tract infections can cause frequent urination but there could be other associated symptoms like burning sensation during urination or even abdominal cramps. I'll equally advise urinalysis to know exactly what you are passing in the urine and it's implication for your general health..If there are no associated symptoms, this could be a simple case of toilet training or diet related. Drinks like tea, coffee, alcohol and some medications can increase your frequency of urination. How much water do you drink daily? The more you drink, the more you urinate..What's the colour of the urine? It could give a clue why it's coming out with such frequency. Bottom line is, go for proper medical check up..
