Enrolling for a course online is good but not necessary. You can learn chinese here when you get here by interacting with chinese people. You just need to prepare for a new environment, new lifestyle, new type of people. Everything is different here compared to Nigeria. Just be ready to adapt to change that’s all.

The cost of living in Liaoning is relatively low compared to other provinces. Buying food stuff and cooking is cheaper than buying food. But if you want to buy food, you can get a good meal for about 500 naira. This is normal food not in big restaurants. If well managed, you can survive with 60,000 naira a month. There are buses that move round the city so you can go with a bus, there are subways in some cities so you can use that too. Those are the cheapest means of transportation. There are also taxis but much more expensive than the buses. Working in china is almost impossible as a foreigner especially as a student and even worse as a black person. If you’re caught working on a student visa, you can be arrested, fined or deported. Most schools will want their students to be taught by white peoples because they think our English is not the true English. Anyways, your best bet to making money in china is starting a business as you know china is the right place for that.

I'm not in China presently, but it's more easier to secure a post graduate scholarship than Bsc. But as long as you have money guys over there will work it out for you in less than 2 months.

There is something called chinese government scholarship and Nigerians can apply for it. It is very difficult to get the scholarship but not impossible. For example if the Chinese government releases 150 seats of the scholarship opportunities, 150 will have to be shared between different countries. Maybe in the Nigeria we may get only 10 seats. Remember there are different courses like medicine, engineering, business etc but only 10 seats in Nigeria. You’ll have to apply through the chinese embassy in Nigeria if you’re lucky you may be picked or the people at the embassy may decide to share the spots for their family members and friends but like I said, it’s not impossible but it’s difficult to get it. But if you did your undergrad in china and you want to do masters in the same school, your school can give you 30-50% off your school fees.

1. There are some undergraduate scholarships
2. and you may not have to write exam but you’ll have to have good O’level results and hopefully if students from your country are well behaved they’ll like more students from your country and you may be picked.

3.The chances of working after studies in china is slim to zero. Except you’re able to get a working visa and you give them a reason to employ you, then that’s good but if not, due to language barrier and Chinese people already have more than enough people that need jobs so the chances of hiring a foreigner is low. But if at all, then probably handy works but not cooperate jobs.

4.Learning chinese is not difficult especially if you’re in china all you need in interest and continuous practice. It doesn’t really guarantee scholarships but you can get scholarship to study in chinese language for example medicine, you may be able to get a scholarship to study medicine in chinese language but that’s after passing the chinese proficiency exams.

5. The weather in china is different. As you know china is very big. South of china experiences summer and rain all year but the north of china experiences summer autumn winter and spring. It’s very cold in winter and very hot in summer.

This means I can survive with 1,700 yuan monthly. My scholarship will provide all necessary things but the monthly stipend is 1,700. Hope that is fine!

There are different scholarship schemes available in China for both undergrad and post grad.
The Chinese government scholarship scheme is one, usually open for application between January-March ending each year but there are other scholarship schemes awarded by the provincial government and the host universities. these ones are open for each semesters all year round.

you do not need any exams to be granted one, you just have to provided some documents like your High sch cert, police character report, physical fitness, Bachelors and transcript plus letter of intent for post grad studies.

post your questions here and i will reply you when i have the time.
I graduated from a Chinese university though.

That's the down side of studying in China.

After completing a six yr course without a criminal record of any sort. The least they could do would be to grant some kinda work permit for graduates to gain employment, sort themselves and find their feet. But there's nothing of that such.

I think it's not cool considering the number of years and financial commitments involved. But it's cool though.

I got a job offer a few weeks before my graduation and the employer offered to help with my job visa application. That's the only way if you're lucky. There's no government provision for that.

For those planning to study in China, it's really a great place to live a very decent life at a very affordable cost but there isn't any jobs. You have to depend on fam or side hustles. It's a crime to work while on a students visa and most employers are being careful too.

But overall, you must survive if you're a survivor and a good planner. Stay out of trouble, and you'll be fine. There's always gonna be one or two business opportunities from time to time. The place turns everybody to a business man. cheesy cheesy

if you like your life sir don’t overstay or allow your visa expire in China because you will regret coming to this earth.... Chinese people are not tolerant of foreigners breaking their law and you should be ready for their famous underground prison...
