Many Christian people approach me all the time etc preach about their religion often they quote the bible saying

IT IS THE WORD OF GOD


Next I ask them how do you know this?
Who actually wrote it ? And they are stumped.
They would say something like

It was written by men inspired by God
Again I ask

HOW DO YOU KNOW


NO sensible answer is ever forthcoming
Eventually they resort to name calling
Antichrist is the most popular one.
A good way to end rational discussion.
I wish to know the ORIGIN of the bible

How old is it?
Where did it come from?
Why should I believe it?

Many Christian folk never engage with this most fundamental question


Where does the bible come from?


The Bible has 66 books
39 in the old Testament and 27 in the New.

How was it put together?
Over what time scale?
When?
By whom?

The bible actually is not a book.

Let me repeat that

The Bible is 66 books
Some body or some people somewhere someday chose 66 books out of thousands of other books and joined them together


Just like a DJ might make a play list of several songs whilst leaving out several other songs

Many people are not permitted to think about the bible. Doing so is rebellious and slapped down vigorously and so our people have conditioned their minds to ignore all the evidence than man existed in Africa First and thousands of years before the bible was written
