The updates are not usually saved in your phone after updating, even it is(manual update), you can always delete after updating

I haven't been able to search for a desired font or theme from the theme store for a while now.
I've cleared cache and data, yet, same result.

For fonts
Change region to 'India', then go to the theme app, you'll see the fonts section, download and install font of yoir choice, then revert back to Nigeria region.

When you install your main theme back, you'll lose your fonts, just download 'MIUI hidden settings app' and use that to choose your font back
