Below are pictures of Woodley (first pic) and Ngumo (second pic) which are part of Kibera and really good estates, do they exempt Kibera from being a slum? You're trying too hard my dear.

From the article I read, Nairobi metamorphosed from a mere train station to a town. It was not planned. The 1948 plan was only for the CDB area but was badly implemented while the whole remaining parts were left to develop naturally. Bhuhahahaha!


No wonder, no part of Nairobi is recognised as a planned area. Unlike, Nigeria that has many areas recognised as planned areas.


EAC is planned. Ikeja is planned. Lekki is planned. Victoria Island is planned. Ikoyi is planned. Festac is planned. Banana island is planned. All these cities within Lagos state are recognised as planned cities.

Bonny island is recognised as a planned in Rivers state.

Abuja is planned in FCT.

Centenary city is also planned in FCT.

The world knows about this undiluted fact. Poor Kenya. You don't have one single planned city. Even the one planned by the colonial master covers CBD but wasn't executed.

The bolded is undiluted fact. Nigeria has so many developed areas that are even better than capitals of some African states.

All things work together for good. However, I think we need to restructure the country. Places like Jos should be raking in millions of dollars from tourism, mineral resources and weather but due to some restrictions, Jos or plateau state is not living up to it's potential.

I think when that is done, there will be competition that will spur city development.

1.anyone who speaks Swahili
2.anyone who resides in the coastal areas of east Africa

Absolutely not. There are entirely different words in Pidgin english with diverse origins..
No matter the different accent of a language, native speakers of that language must understand most of what is being spoken, but Pidgin is now a different language entirely barely understood by native speakers of English.
