The rationale behind the appointment of those people while neglecting the other geo political zones is quite questionable.... What are the criteria used for the appointment? It goes a long way to show the lop sidedness considering the nepotism going on in this administration.

I'd thought some people from one noisy region use to tag Saraki as being ''smart''. But I think Saraki handled the electoral act amendment like one without experience. The President's men on electoral matters are smarter. The entire senate led by Saraki is the weakest since 1999. If care is not taken, Buhari will rig all of them to oblivion in 2019.

Not all Northern are illiterates, and secondly We're divided by ethnicity. The South East should not complain... Have not seen any other region holding any meaningful position in the South East... We've some South East indigene holding meaningful position in Lagos. Even Igbos deccriminate amongst themselves. The current VC in unizik is not from Anambra and he went through prosecution to stamp his feet because he's from Imo. And secondly Igbos focuses more on business. That's why you've few of them in top ministeries.. It's not Buhari's fault, he's giving appointment to those that supported him. Every other tribe will do the same. Because Nigeria is still driven by Ethnicity. We're all guilty

Even with Buhari on the helm for 4years, the entire North is still regarded as Educationally disadvantaged. The question then is what exactly has he done in 4years?

Before you try to justify this actions, remember we have federal character and quoter system.

If the government should appoint people based on comptence, Southerners will dominate every government department.

Nigeria was not great, is not great and will never be great. I dare you to name thing that depicts Nigeria's greatness.
Nigerians are barboons and monkeys, always giving false image of themselves. They will never rise up to revolt against the government rather peanut is well enough to mortgage their humanity and generations. Nigeria is not great, it has never been.

I'm not justify anything... All I'm saying is that Nigeria should wake up from her slumber of nepotism, ethnicity, religion, favoritism etc. Until we start voting based on comptence no future for us. We're all guilty of it. I know so many youths on Naira land will say shi* about Buhari. But ask them if they're voting based on comptence the story will change.

Just look at how the children of hell are trying to justify evil just because they have allowed their darker side to take over their soul and because they love being slaves and they believe they cannot exist without their masters.
In a multi ethnic, multi religious society such as ours why should all the appointments go to a certain section that claims to be educationally less developed? Yet some people try in their eternally warped nature to justify this anomaly.
The good thing is that the good book has already pronounced woes upon those that see white and call it black.

The nomination is lopsided. Why can't we do things to reflect Federal Character, I know the next thing is to term me "wailer" to those supporting APC anyone who faults them is a wailer. I am tempted to ask, are they now so perfect?

We need to be cautious of over-selling stories like "so & so never finished school but is now a millionaire" to prove that education isn't "everything".

Richard Branson, Steve Jobs & Zuckerberg are outliers & statistical anomalies. They don't represent reality of most drop-outs.

Lack of education has created more barriers than it has millionaires. There is a correlation between education levels & poverty. The unemployment rate for graduates is lower than for non-grads. Success in entrepreneurship can also be linked to education levels. I don't dispute that one can be successful without formal education. In South Africa, many cannot further their schooling due to circumstances beyond their control. But if you have a chance to further your formal qualifications - make use of it. It will increase your options.
Everything you wrote is true but why is it on this thread ?

You must be a kid.
This is the strongest senate ever.
The senate before Saraki are mere rubber stamp of the president.
Even Obj was changing senate presidents like used cloth without invading
national assembly or engaging in useless propaganda.
But Saraki who was unwanted from the beginning opposed Buhari and survived
making Buhari the weakest president in Nigeria's history.
