Reading documentary of the civil war made me cry like i was there.

It really is sad someone can use what was a personal tragedy for many millions, and still causing serious disaffection today, for political gains. I am a fan of politics being secular, i.e devoid of the influence of religion, and without ethnic jingoism to be about issues and policies. This is not possible in Nigeria because of vile characters like Secondus, Agbaje, FFK, Fayose et al. Before you know it, we are all forced to defend our religion, ethnicity and origin to then relegate discussion about real and pertinent issues to the background. Sad because this is not how politics is played in developed democracies.
