I am beginning to worry ohh.My Beloived University processed my husband transcript and my husband documents sent at once to IQAS and it was delivered to IQAS OCtober 23rd at exactly 2:15 pm cause i tracked it. it took just three days. Since November ending, we have been checking mail and no show or sign of first acknowledgment receipt. I logged in to the new IQAS tracking portal and still no sure Info as regards the Application received status. My husband smashed the November ending IELTS and this is making our score sit at 447 but without IQAS feedback, we cant proceed since Hubby is the principal applicant.

It's not a technical issue! You have most likely put 8 hours as number of hours of work per week under work history instead of 40 hours. This has drastically reduced your years of experience and affected your points under skills transfer - work experience. Ask me how I know?

Just wait..IQAS is like that you will probably get it before the year runs out or early January since it's been a while..if you have gotten an acknowledgement mail you should just put your mind at rest..mine took 3months

This exam shattered my confidence leaving it very low but I thank God I have crossed the hurdle. The sad part is that you are already thinking of another 68 or 75k before leaving the exam hall which could make you lifeless.

It is the impulsive thing to do. Your supervisor knows more about what you do than a supposed HR that isnt even in your office. Especially if you work in a setting where your J.D is quite fluid, and this is why in many instances, it is a reference from a supervisor that is asked for. Even here in Canada.


However, like you rightly pointed out, the devil is in the details. People go on to falsely assume that this should mean a supervisor could always issue this reference on the company's letter head, without first checking what their firm's policies on this is.

For those who work in smaller firms, they dont need to be bothered about this.

This supervisor reference thing is easy all you need to do is get your supervisor’s complimentary card and attach it to your reference letter. That way they do not need to call your HR rather they call your supervisor. There are some professions where it’s just supervisor that can access your abilities not HR

Thanks. But that's what am saying. I haven't gotten an acknowledgement mail. That's why my mind isn't at rest. Isn't there a number to contact iqas or Twitter accnt. They don't respond d to email na auto response person go get.

Did medicals at Qlife with my family. Just got an email from CIC today requesting for additional medical tests for my spouse. I know it's because he once had tuberculosis and the scar showed in his X-ray.

Has anyone been in this situation before please? Has anyone with an history of tuberculosis gone for additional tests before please? What tests are they?

Did your spouse tell your Panel Physician she/he had TB before when asked about her/his medical history?
