Honestly, I have never heard any other style, beat or song more danceable than awilo songs. Awilo style is hardcore dance, that beat came down from an higher realm. He himself has a good singing voice and a drummer. That's talent, kind of people I regard as celebs. All these wizkid, Davido and co are mere pieces of wacks, they do basic things any idiot can enter studio and do or even do better.
Fck me if I call wack a celeb.

Awilo had a unique style of music and dance that was greeted by the worlds fast growing knack for entertainment.
His style may be unrivalled, but he cannot be the greatest musician.

Maybe you were too young to remember what awilo and makossa dance did to Nigerian, Africans in the late 90s and early 2000s. It took Africa and the world by storm.Makossa was danced in churches,clubs, gatherings of any kind.It was danced by old and young..

You talk about why awilo didn't win any Grammy award like his other African counterparts.Then I ask you why Jay Jay okocha, although is regarded as one of African greatest football players of all time by pundits didn't win even one African players of the year? Davido has won more award than 2face, but, does that actually mean Davido is better than 2face? Mikel has more trophies than okocha,but does that mean Mikel is better than okocha? You answer that?

Sometimes a persons success arnt based on physical award and the rest, it's sometimes about legacy.
