NaijaTalkTown:
No football club in Europe will offer him up to half of that amount anymore. Same goes for Pogba that he signed for £100m+. They are both overrated. If Mourinho wants more money, he will be offered plenty of it in China or one of the Arab leagues grin

Please not everyone shares your sentiments abeg. Not everyone else is a pained United fan. Out there they live and breathe stats and facts. With the exception of Zidane which top coach has not been sacked or relieved of his duties before. The football world for coaches is a revolving door and is very 'in the now business'. You retain you job based on your performance yesterday but you get future jobs based on your entire CV and Manchester United will be no more than a snapshot of his elaborate CV and he made that clear a while ago when he said he won 3 premiership titles. Only retired Sir Alex has done better so as far as the Premiership is concerned or any of the top european clubs his CV will decide his earnings, his image rights will determine his earnings and the competence of his negotiating team will dertermine his future earnings... not Nigerian type sentiment.

reportminds:
Earlier today, Manchester United announced that the manager Jose Mourinho has been released from his duty as the gaffer of the Red Devils.

The Daily Record initially reported that United were to face a compensation package of roughly £18 million if they dismissed Mourinho before the end of the season.

Jose Mourinho Man United Young Boys

That fee has the potential to rise exponentially, however, now that he has been axed before the end of January.

In doing so, United will now have to pay him a Champions League "top up" having sacked him while the club are still in the European competition, or still in contention to finish in the top four (no matter how unlikely the latter scenario is).

United will now pay the Portuguese manager a fee in the region of £22.5m, according to the Daily Mail, to cut short a contract that was poised to run until 2020.

Though Mourinho was on a basic salary of £18m – which is what Man United are liable to pay in order to dismiss him – the contract included a 25 per cent bonus if the club were still in the running for the two main competitions upon being sacked.

Mourinho just cashed out on Manu. Who wouldn't make a team lose badly enough for that amount. Lol grin Almost a billion naira. grin

Since the club board insisted on young low quality and expired English players, they made things easy for the special one.

Watch as serious team boards Real Madrid, PSG and Inter go rush him. #SPECIAL

Mouhrino is a clever guy always get out bogus pay for sacking. Money some many working managers cannot get in 5yrs. He can distrust club progress or under perform so as to get sack and thereby get his bogus payout. Mourhino lolz!!!

If you are not suffering from,"Nigerian type sentiment", why would you conclude that I'm a United fan? I am not interested in arguing with you over a non-issue. PS, I'm a Gunner!
