I'm really tired of these muslims.
She doesn't want to respect the dress code of the school, so her religion is greater than the rules of the school?

How?.

That overzealous teacher that dragged the hijab off her head needs to be cautioned and disciplined
don't be an hypocrite, haven't you seen Catholic sisters dressing in their regalia and no Muslim raised any eyebrow

I don't think you even know what you were saying. She should not use Hijab in a public sch or private sch? People like you are the reason why we had a lot of religious crisis in this country despite the fact that you know what constitution says about the issue. It was clearly stated in your Bible that women should cover their heads but due to your hatred for Islam and your love for sins and hypocrisy, you would never speak the truth even if you are practising lawyers.
Am sure u just typing words from ur initiative and who says i hate Islam when i have better things to occupy my precious minds, instead of her parents to change school they busy crying like girls, its very simple, every school has a uniform and hijab ain't among,School ain't a place for religious activities, so if they can't abide by the rules then it's not by force u must attend that particular school, we tend to involve religion in virtually everything we do and that's the main issue affecting this Country
Re: Hijab: Aisha AbdulAleem Drags Ogun Government To Court, Demands N1m by Mccullum: 10:17pm On Dec 22, 2018
The intolerance attitude of some Christian teachers in public schools against innocent Muslim female students is uncivilized.

If teacher genuinely care of cautioning pupil, must she apply force?, some Christians always feels uncomfortable when seeing means of identification of being Muslim on an innocent person because of hatred and jealousy by thinking is uncontained strategy of Muslims against Christians while it's not so, it's part of Islamic religion obligation to Muslim women.

It's fantastic that it's enshrined in Nigerian constitution of the right to wear what you want according to your beliefs as Nigeria is a secular state.

Court will continue to solve the problem.

In a school that belongs to all tax payers? If the school prevents you from worshipping your Christian God, would you say the same thing?
When did Schools became a place of worship?? So if I should start worshipping in School, then what will i be doing in Churches? Going there lectures abi, nawa oo, we are just too religious in this Country, Life is very simple but we tend to make things difficult for ourselves

Would you stop in the middle of an exam to pray, because you are religious or walk out from a class to pray? The school is an institution and the rules are guidelines for conduct. If you knew the rules from the beginning and agreed to study there, why begin rebellion. Why didn't you challenge the rules from day one or go where you are allowed to dress how you choose. Soon this issue will get to the military., let's see.
Would you stop in the middle of an exam to urinate or walk out from a class to urinate?

Muslims take their religion seriously and everything attached to it, just as you would feel uneasy when you want to urinate, Muslims feel uneasy when they haven't prayed. I know Muslims that took as much as 10 minutes break from an exam to pray and No, they didn't fail the exam, they went to pray to the Almighty that has power over all things, the exams inclusive !

Yea,buh that doesn't mean u should practice religion in school, most schools don't allow rosary or any form of religious bangle into a classroom as well, u won't hear anyone complaining, meanwhile this hijab issue was banned for safety measures in some places, The last time i was in KASU menh...!! The Muslim ladies were all looking like a Ninja and some were using it for the wrong motives anyway its well.....!!

What Kaduna girls are doing doesn't stop u from covering your body. Even holy Mary covered her body but Christians have chosen nudity and forget the tradition of their religion.

Why must hausa wear hijab everywhere they go? igbo dey local jigida everytime?
We need to understand that this is an infringement of the right to religion, association or education of this little girl. The religion of Islam has commanded that all women (including the girl child) must cover their hair. It doesn't matter the tribe, be it Hausa, Yoruba or Igbo, as far as the lady is a Muslim. It is a must for her to cover her hair.

Wait! This is funny grin grin So the parents are not suing for the right to quality education as obtained in advanced countries but for the right to wear a piece of garment that is not a uniform! Ok ooo! Continue! undecided undecided Let's be destroying the future of the younger generation small small over trivial issues!
Re: Hijab: Aisha AbdulAleem Drags Ogun Government To Court, Demands N1m by ofwest47(m):
Christendom hate every where, what is wrong in a girl wearing a white scarf called hijab and wearing the school uniform diligently to avoid exposing her body openly to the outside world because of education haven't we being seeing the way some young girls because of the way they appear in public even in their school uniforms with body exposure are being harassed and abducted for illegal sex. Gone were the days when school children both male and female have to cover their heads when in uniform , the male wears face caps and their female counterparts wears head caps called beret with the inscription of the school boldly written on them but these days the reverse is the case as the female students can appear any how in uniform. So, the school should should allow any female student to cover her head with scarf or hijab you call it to avoid undue harassment in public.

Islam is one.

Not divided into sects.

Those sects are not Muslim
They are more Muslim than you.

Is there no message in your koran on religious tolerance? You should question your faith if it's leading you astray.

Muslima. Shabi na you muslim pass?

How does using an Hijab affect the learning of a child please or what is the world turning to sef?!

In the same way;

We now use boobs to sell everything from cars to cheeseburgers to matches and nobody cares. Use boobs to feed a baby in public and everyone loses their minds.

I work with the Ogun state Ministry of education
Using of Hijab is allowed in all schools in Ogun state. The hijab as to be pure white short, with no stones or any name crested on it. The Principal did not act in accordance with extant law of the ministry, all Principals in the state has been warned by Hon. Commissioner Mrs. Modupe Mujota to stop harassing any students with hijab in public schools in ogun state.

Intolerant you say? All registrations made, her father already spoke to the VP about it and everything was sorted out, then one fool from nowhere comes out to remove her hijab forcefully, and we are the intolerant ones?? Really??

To those saying hijab is not part of the uniform, why didn't the school just say it before the girl was registered, after al, she must have come for registration in her hijab. But no, they collected money then boom! No hijab! Wonderful! Intolerance my foot.

If no, why?
If yes, why did they not take here there?
Small time now, you will want them to change the name of the school to Alha kubbar undecided

I think we should thread softly on this recurrent issue of hijab or no hijab. Religion is different from education.Hijab has never been part of school uniform. It is purely regious dress. Cap,badge and berrets have been used by students for long why all this recent upsurge in clamour for hikab? What does a 9year old girl know about her right? Nigeria has beIN a secular state and it better remain so. Countries where religious fight occurred have no time for development. Saudi Arabia is progressing where islamic religion originated because apart from the initial jihad to introduce Islamic religion they don't engage in constant jihad. No country goes to war without negative consequences
