It’s another Sunday today. But have we ever wondered:


“could I really go to the church today, and my attendance be a waste of time ⌚, energy ⚡, and money?”

�Yessss.. It is possible dear �

We have come to the contemporary generation where our psychological consciousness daily faints about this god-factor. We welcome things carelessly as things show themselves which means, things are now our controller. This points out the 3 major factors why it would have been better for you to have stayed home:

The Notion to Show Off and Look Down On

It’s now a common bad habit to be in sophisticated attires and other fittings to impress that friend who we compete with. It’s great to do that but very bad for showing off or competiting. It can be very good because you worship God with the dressing. Dear, your service is a waste if you have the latter on mind, because God deals with your mind, emotion and will. Don’t you know you are wasting your time? It would be a better part not to attend church and know that you are not ready to serve God than to waste your time, money and energy. Remember, time is money.

“having to go to church” and not WANTING TO GO TO CHURCH

It’s simply a waste of time. You might not want people to see you absent yourself from church; you might be the only one left in hostel after others are gone to church and might not want to be an outcast; or you may even go because you are a worker. My dear friend, geer up! It’s a total waste of time. God ain’t recognising that because the service ain’t coming from a sincere heart. Why not stay home and accept not serving God than to waste your precious time, money and energy in church.

No Vision and Mission

You attend lectures or classes with a vision of an impromptu tests and a mission to pass the test and sustain your GPA. Same rule applies to church ⛪

You attend church to worship God with everything you are capable of.

Most times, you accord to God that less than 4 hours in a week and you expect God not to expect best worship from you. Dear! Spit it out. The vision and mission to worship God and receive your week blessings should be your aspiration.

In conclusion, we can’t serve two masters at a time. It’s either we stay home and worship our materials or attend church to wholeheartedly worship whoyou wish worship.
