IamPatriotic:You Yorubas claim Igbos hate you but indices always show that Yorubas are the ones who hate Igbos. Igbos supported Obasanjo and I know Obasanjo is an Igbo man right ![]() Igbos have been supporting Osinbajo and been speaking good of him as against Buhari not until recently when Osinbajo joined the bad gangs playing tribal politics. Even IPOB prefer Osinbajo to Buhari and Igbos kept saying why didn't APC field Osinbajo instead of Buhari, and you claim Igbos hate Yoruba. Generally, majority of non-Lagosians and non-Yorubas living in Lagos don't like Tinubu because of his excessive influence on every Lagos governor since 2007, it has nothing to do with hate or whatever. It is Yorubas that out of fear of their role against Igbos during the civil war that are still scared that Igbos will one day fight them back that are peddling hatred, reason Yorubas are usually scared of going to Southeast to live even when they get better job offers in the east, and when they live there at all, they will never build a big house or own big property there out of fear of what they have in mind but Igbos have clear heart, and don't keep malice, even after fighting with u, they will still come and live and laugh with u freely and even join in developing your region without having any fear. Igbos are the bridge holding Nigeria together, they are the only tribe that buy land and build mansions and own big companies and businesses on every region of Nigeria without fear. Yoruba man is scared of owning big properties in the north, scared of owning it in southeast or south south, Yorubas are only happy and willing to build and own businesses and companies in Lagos, Ibadan, Abeokuta, never outside their region which shows clear sign of tribalistic and cunning nature, you know he truth but I know as always, u and your likes won't admit the truth, so I expect denials and claims without proves like I backed mine with proves ![]() |

Agritech:But to my own comprehension, i don't see the op bn sentimental or asking to vote pdp. I think that's just the way we are supposed to see governance. It shouldn't be about tribe of the next president, governance should be who is doing it right. If someone like osinbajo could be the face of tradermoni, it's a shame. Imagine how many youths would be employed if the 20 billion fir the first phase of tradermoni is used to set up a manufacturing company and how each each employee would help atleast three of his or her family members. For osinbajo to champion the tradermoni scheme, then there is no hope in any of them claiming to have interest of the masses. |

badoh:God bless you for speaking up like a reasonable person. Before now, Igbos were even campaigning for Buhari to resign for Osinbajo to take over, Igbos have been asking why APC didn't even field Osinbajo instead of Buhari but now its becoming clear that Osinbajo is just the same set of tribalistic politicians that brought Nigeria to the ruins it is today, sadly |

franchasng:This post makes me laugh. Do you think there's a Yoruba general assembly where we gather to take a decision on where to settle or where to invest? People generally go to where they feel safe, where they feel their family and business will prosper. It is an individual decision. If Nigerians are not settling in the east it must be for other reasons you have chosen to ignore. By the way, Igbos are not even staying in the east why should Yorubas head there? |
| Re: Prof Yemi Osinbajo Should Resign by Nobody: 3:39pm On Dec 23, 2018 |
Slynation:The problem of Nigeria is not too many ethnic groups, but inferiority complex & enviousness. I remembered only few Nigerians (mostly IBOs) know governorship election took place in Anambra on 18th November, 2017 as at November 19, 2017. The elections of Ekiti & Osun that of 2014 & 2018 are still in our memory. INEC cannot forget those elections. If the people of South West want to behave like the Ibos, there would not have been PDP in South West. Makarfi led executives zoned PDP chairmanship to South West. Wike & his IBO caucus, because of APC , made mockery passed insult on Bode George & South West team & denied them the chairmanship. Only somebody suffering from inferiority complex complained about people's tribe. All their attacks on Obj, Soyinka, Tinubu, Pastor Adeboye, Buhari, Dangote and others, nobody attach importance to it. Just for a family of a late politician (MKO) to receive national honour for their late father, an IBO will insult an entire race. Any small thing they are being marginalized. |

I totally agree with you on most of the issues raised here, I believe PYO is more than this sometimes I get surprised at some of the things he does. |

Osinbajo is no longer a pastor, if you talk from now till tomorrow it like you are disturbing your self. Pastor indeed. |

Guestlander:so Yorubas only feel safe in Nigeria only in Yoruba land ![]() If that's the case, then it says a lot. See bros, I have a handful of Yorubas, if not hundreds of them as close pals and associates so I know how an average Yoruba man reasons because I schooled and served in Yoruba land, worked in Yoruba land with lots of Yoruba people, so I know better. A close Yoruba friend who works with NNPC and got posted to Kaduna in 2014 was telling me recently that we Igbos no be am. That we Igbos are the same people developing the north; he mentioned Kaduna and Kano, that I should go and see what my brothers are building there and establishing big companies there as if its our land and that yet we keep saying we want Biafra that what are we going to do to those big houses, companies and investments we have in the north if Nigeria divides ![]() That some of his Igbo colleagues are already buying lands, building houses in Kaduna and Kano, some planning to open filling station, that God forbid he does that in the north. That the only place that he can own a big property outside Yoruba land is abroad like UK or US. This is how an average Yoruba man reasons and u don't need any gathering or meeting of Yorubas to decide it, that's how Yorubas reason and u know it bro, no need denying the obvious fact we all see everyday. Igbos have liberal mind, Yorubas just feel that because of their role against Igbos/Biafra during civil war, that Igbos will one day retaliate, for this, they keep sabotaging any Igbo effort which leads to hatred and political disagreements between the two tribes |
| Re: Prof Yemi Osinbajo Should Resign by bender79: 3:49pm On Dec 23, 2018 |
adelacuna:pls, what did he do wrong? Politics is about interest my brother. Peter obi has once described APC as hausa and yoruba party that igbo's shouldn't sell their identity. Igbo's are always insecure that is their problem |

Prompto:That is the problems with most of you. Why not counter his points with a stronger argument...... You are a waste to your generation and the money spent on your education, if you had any though,is useless. |
| Re: Prof Yemi Osinbajo Should Resign by emmasege: 3:52pm On Dec 23, 2018 |
IamPatriotic:In your myopic sense of reasoning, you are talking to a little boy, abi? That's what half education does to your type. For your info, I knew when Muhammadu Buhari ruled as a military leader, and how freedom or fundamental human rights became a privilege in our land. If you were already born or grown enough, you'd know that joy pervaded the atmosphere when his reign was truncated by IBB, even though the latter also turned out to be an evil genius. Let me again ring it into your ears (nitoripe kokoko laa ran'fa aditi), I don't play politics of ethnicity. Of course there are good guys in APC just like there are in the PDP also. For me, I first think of capacity of the chief executive before I think of the party. In 2015, APC had the brightest chance to bury PDP forever. They had a very good manifesto and campaign / marketing strategy but unfortunately a very bad product to sell. Even though some of us knew the product was bad, a good number didn't know or believe. Now, the nation knows better. I say it with all sincerity that Buhari was the worst among the APC candidates in 2014, but because APC needed the fanatical votes of the north east and north west, they settled for him. The truth is that Buhari knows nothing next to governance. Worse still, two anonymous men tell him what to do or do not, and then he instructs his dumb vice and fake pastor to carry out some of these. AND THEN SOME FOOLS WOULD WANT ME TO VOTE BUHARI SIMPLY BECAUSE HIS VICE IS FROM MY REGION. What a shallow thinking? This coming election is between Atiku and Buhari, and if anyone will still chose a confirmed failure over a tested success (in government and business), then he's nothing but a waste of space on the planet earth. Buhari has only spent the last three or four years to confirm why he was never fit to preside over an ethno-religious diverse nation with abundant human and natural resources. I can bet it with anyone that there are even thousands of presidential materials from Katsina where he comes from, but definitely he's not one. Thank God we had a President like Yaradua who though was sick, demonstrated mental capacity and an understanding of the fact that we are only united when our diversity is appreciated. If there was not a Sheu Musa Yaradua from Katsina, some other ethnocentric bigots like you could have thought no northerner is good enough for a President. |
| Re: Prof Yemi Osinbajo Should Resign by Nobody: 3:56pm On Dec 23, 2018 |
The IBOs complained about Oba of Lagos statement, you complained about VP's statement. These statements would not have made any meaning to Yorubas if they had come from IBO land as we have had more against our leaders. They said Awolowo drank poison. They passed insults on Obj, Soyinka, Tinubu & others. Just for a family of a late politician (MKO) to receive national honour for their late father, an IBO ( Ochereome Nnanna) will insult an entire race. Any small thing they are being marginalized. |

franchasng:Retaliate!!!!!! When you carried your bags and ran away during June 12 debacle; have we ever heard you responsible for not supporting us during those inglorious years of the military? When your bastar.d of a son, another useless Kanu - Daniel Kanu started the 1million man march Youth Earnestly Asked for Abacha YEAA, an evil and despotic ruler, did we hold you responsible for being back stabbers and not supporting justice? At every point in time, the Yoruba nation has never and will never solicit for the support of hollow heads that think with their chests rather than their brains. We are seriously waiting for that day of retaliation and let me tell you in Dino's voice ajekunya ni e maje. Awon oniranu. If you are daft and lazy to fight your battles alone, that is yiur headache and do not.hold us responsible for your resounding defeat. Southern Nigerians should be given a Guinness world record for having the greatest concentration of brain dead individuals. Just look at them fighting themselves for their Fulani overlords seeking for bread that is not even sure to fall from their masters table. A shame of a people having the highest population of educated people yet playing second fiddle to a people not as educated or as exposed as they are. Oh southerners who hath cursed you this bad? No one is talking about the capability of the people to elect that can lead us out of this quagmire that we have found ourselves in, but the hausa-fulani has got us fighting over ethnicity. Shame on all of you. |

SuperS1Panther:When I say that it is obvious even to the blind that Yorubas are filled with hatred for Igbos but will rather twist it and accuse Igbos of hating on them, just re read your reply to my post and see all the hatred, anger, blood rushing and poisonous venoms oozing out from your comment. Just to help u comprehend my comment better in case you didn't, I never said Igbos are planning to retaliate Yorubas role against Igbos/Biafra during the civil war, I said Yorubas always feel unsafe seeing Igbos become President or living freely in Southeast because they feel Igbos will one day retaliate of which Igbos don't have time for such, Igbos are only concerned about financial and economic growth, which is why they are asking for freedom in order for peace to reign and to give every Nigerian tribe and region the freedom to govern themselves as they please and control their resources as they wish. Every other gibberish u typed there is just borne out of an average Yoruba man's unjustifiable hatred for Igbo and anything Igbo, of which I am not surprised ![]() |

bender79:First I am not igbo. I am yoruba, moslem and a northerner. Secondly, PDP is Nigeria's republican party and Igbos are republican by their political history since independence and entrepreneurial disposition. They are deeply PDP irrespective of the candidates. They will once again deliver bloc votes to PDP not only in the SE but, everywhere they live in Nigeria. APC is a confused coalition hanging only on buhari to still remain as a Party! |

raumdeuter:You maybe right, but its not just about being smart alone, it also shows a negative human trait; tribalism, discrimination and feeling of perfectionist ![]() Igbos are the bridge holding Nigeria together and that's why every other Nigerian tribe are against Igbos having their freedom to have their own country. To tell you how important Yorubas are to Nigeria, let Yorubas in one voice wake up and demand for freedom of Yoruba nation and watch how Igbos and other tribes will host a farewell party for them but let Igbos demand for freedom and every other Nigerian tribe will gather and begin to prepare to go to war to ensure Igbos remain in Nigeria, what does that tel you bro ![]() Igbos are the bridge holding Nigeria together, they are irreplaceable reason every tribe don't want them to go, u know what I am saying, don't act like u don't ![]() |

emmasege:I was reading the trash you wrote up till where you wrote Atiku is tested and trusted both in governance and business. I don't care if you are metussalah or not, but you're a fraud, an idiot to have referred to Vice President Osinbajo as dumb, who's your father? The problem with people like you is that you're such an insincere folk and easily misconstrue sincerity, Aisha was only being sincere to have voiced out her thoughts on her husband's administration, but fraudsters like you keep feting on it . You're the illiterate if you don't know that with the current configuration of the country, nothing will work regardless who's saddled with piloting its affairs. If really you are interested in the affairs of the country, go and study our budget performance in the last decade, juxtapose the capital expenditure and the recurrent, study how bogus and non functional our system of government is. Find out how remarkable your favorite State Governor performed and the state he left his State, then you can come here and single out Buhari for blame because you no longer have access to free money as it was the case in the past. Even though corruption is still well pronounced, it's obvious that with further push we will record improvement, you won't notice the difference because Buhari took your meal ticket and handed it over to Abba Kyari, but that's not enough reason you run mad and then refer to a cerebral Professor as a dumb... keep your response coming... |

You wont tell us the truth that barreness of your land is what is chasing you from your land If and when Yorubas need to leave we dont need anyones help, the last time we made noise, everyone in Nigeria conceded the presidency to us You have been making noise since and what has come out of it? That shows the person they take serious If Ibos want to go today no one will stop them, just relocate back to your region and stay there Ask any Ibo who want to break away to leave Nigeria and move back to their region and they will decline, they want Biafra but want to hold Lagos, Abuja Kano with it |
