Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard has been named Belgium's 2018 Sportsman Of The Year. Hazard captained his national team to a third place finish in Russia 2018 World Cup with a fine performance at the World Cup. Hazard also won the FA Cup with Chelsea back in May and has scored 19 goals so far in 2018. The last set of footballers to win the award, were Thibaut Courtois in 2014 and Kevin De Bruyne in 2015. Kudos to him for being Belgiums' s Sportsman of 2018. But on the issue of being PL's GOAT, Hazard is overrated. I'm a United fan and the achievements of those who had been GOATs at my club dwarfs everything you can say about Hazard at any point in time I cringe when I hear people say he'll be the next World Best Footballer winner. Well deserved honour for Eden Hazard. That Congolese born Belgium player called Lukaku was a super ball waster for his Belgium world cup team and the Manchester United team. Lukaku was just running aimlessly in the football pitch with no good football sense to convert chances into goal. Apart from being overweight, you will give Lukaku ball he will waste it. |

yusman14:wrong! The best player is given at the end of every season. Salah presently holds the award. And the closest to salah was harry Kane..... Harry Kane has scored over 30 goals in 3 consecutive seasons. He's been the best player n england for the past 3 seasons combined.... But for now, salah is presently the best until a new award is given at the end of the season. |
