Yeah same thing happened to me. Sold my terrier n my Eskimo ran away. And the locals caught her n eat

I basically cook for him specially. rice with Titus fish and crayfish mixed with palm oil, okra soup containing Titus fish crayfish and palm oil. I also do raw feeding like chicken head,neck .




I bath him once a month with tick and flea repellant. I hate the sight of those blood sucking demons.

Hi.I must say your dog looks good and well fed.I hope you ain't giving him too much palm oil as it is harmful when in excess.I just saw it online recently and I've stopped giving my 4 month old puppy altogether.Instead I give him unseasoned indomie and proteins(meat poultry or fish).Turns out its healthy and it provides them with necessary oils so no need for palm oil.I wanted to advise you to try it too.It's also a good and cheap alternative to dog food.Sorry for the long post!

thanks for ur comment and observation. I do give him in very small quantity tho but I'll try to stop completely. I had no idea palm oil is bad for dogs .. thanks again.

lol..I do feed him fish..Titus to be precised in every meal.But now DAT I know d oil in it is enough for him,I'll stop d palm oil completely.

Ok.But if you like you can try indomie (They sell in in vet shop around 6000 per bag in ph) and then skip Titus too as sardine is fairly expensive.My pup can eat it up to 25 times plus and he is a Caucasian so its quite a lot( they also love it)Then 100 Naira chicken intestines and parts to complete it and you're set!Rice is also good.I always do it if dog food is not available at the moment.

I always see ppl talk about ticks on their dogs.Mine has never gotten sha(maybe he is a special breed )Are they nasty and hard to remove?Are they as big as files?Just asking.

Ok,it's still the same nutrients.That your dog is one of the best local breeds I've ever seen!Most people don't feed theirs cos it's not foreign not knowing they can still be as fine as them if taken care of.Keep the updates coming.

my dog has Neva had ticks either cos of my experience with my first dog.
unfortunately, I was still a child then so had little or no knowledge about dogs.it was infested with ticks and flies .
I'll advice u to buy tick and flea repellant cos they don't know anything like "special dog".they are blood sucking demons DAT kills a dog slowly.
U have a Caucasian so you must be extra careful cos they tend to be hairy. It could be very difficult to find them in Caucasians but with d repellants,u have nothing to worry about.

A month old..wow!! isn't it too early to collect her. I learnt dat dogs taken away from their mother and siblings early tend to have some behavioural issues e.g food aggression

u could buy goat milk or puppy milk in the vet shop.its nt adviceable to give cow milk to dogs pls.start with light feeds like pap and grinded meat or fish. Bath weekly with mild dog soap. pls do nt use tick repellant at dis stage,d pup is still very young. try to maintain a clean environment to avoid diseases. do nt feed bones to d dog.no raw feeding should be done as well cos d pup is still to young.
