ehie:
why kill unarmed civilians for christ sakes

Army with Generals whose only war front experience is fighting unarmed children and youths.

President Buhari refuses restructuring the polity to stop all these killings, instead, he imports more arms, jet fighters and perhaps, nuclear bombs soon from Pakistan, to sustain Nigeria's FAILED POLITICAL SYSTEM.

Are you kidding me?

If military brutality is not politics, what is?

Why not devoid buhari of complete responsibility of his office .

All these buhari fanatics sef.

Their favourite word since apc won is "politicise".

Was there not military brutality before Buhari?

You people are making it sound like Buhari brought military brutality.

The issue of police and military brutality will continue as long as we are addressing it wrongly.

for those that doesn't understand, they protest and burned their LGC secretariat, blocked roads, burned tyres and destroyed public peace.
The rule for peaceful protest is very clear, u most write and notified the authorities (security) await their approval before the protest, so that security cover be provided for the protesters.
The security men are unprofessionally and doesn't applied rule for/of engagement. It's sad that the guys in uniform are killing the lives they are supposed to protect.

Then it is the responsibility of those govts to fix it
If they don't, then it is a blight on them.

We expect buhari to now fix it, but with supporting fanatics here and there , the old man has the easiest job in the world.

During the Jonathan era , the north accused him of killing their people.
Why did they accuse him for the brutality of the military if it was not his responsibility as the commander in chief to correct it ?

That is not the point. The person I mentioned wanted to play politics with the matter. He wanted to make it appear like this wouldn't happen under PDP but we all know about all the atrocities the military committed under GEJ, including the atrocities that made people of Borno to lose faith in them.

This is a matter of national interest. Not a matter of PDP or APC.

But it is politics.

Everything that involves the responsibility of the federal government is political in nature.

The APC played politics when there were in opposition and broadcasted the failures of the reigning govt.

Why do you not want apc to be held to the same amount of scrutiny?

The only thing that moves politicians in Nigeria is reelection and politics.

If you divorce the politics from their responsibility, you have given them the perfect excuse.
